Great Guide, Great Food, Great Experience

We spent the evening with Lam as he led us around Da Nang. He was friendly, energetic, and spoke exceptional English. He listened to our requests and led us on a gastronomic adventure peaking with two of my bucket list foods being checked off. Lam was a happy and jovial guide for a lovely evening. — Traveller: Sumna from Tripadvisor

Happy time with the Duy

We only have half day free after arrival danang, Duy had bring us travel as much as the place we want to visited. Nice people with lovely city view make us feel very comfortable. We went to the local market also that is quite special experience for us. — Traveller: fang f from Tripadvisor

Excellent

Quan was a fabulous tour guide. His command of English was far better than the tour guides we had previously in Vietnam. We could tell immediately he had more than just a superficial knowledge of the places we visited (i.e. meaning behind different monuments, history of Buddhism, history of Danang and the Vietnam War). We had a blast going around the Con Market– he bargained to lower the cost of some exotic fruits we bought (mangustan, longan, thieu litchi, rambutan). Of note, he takes excellent pictures. He knows not only the best places for pics but also how to use a camera. Not insignificant if you ask me. Great experience and worth the price. — Traveller: JamieCogent from Tripadvisor

Brilliant, fun and interesting Da Nang Day Tour with Lam and Thu!

What a great day with Lam and Thu, our private and fun tour guides for the day in Da Nang. This was a private tour organised between myself and Xuan Tu Tours, Xuan Tu helps customise each private tour with the customer to make it exactly what you want it to be, very kind, knowledgeable, English speaking, friendly and definitely worth the money! Lam and Thu picked us promptly from my Villa, you have your own driver and car for the day with this tour group, which does make life a lot easier rather than hopping on and off taxi’s and public transport (and especially better if you don’t have a moped). Lam was very knowledgeable young man, be it history of Vietnam, religion, food, drink, culture and even secret spots that other tourists and locals may not even know about. The stories and history he gave me was so interesting and I digested every word with ease and was very impressed with him as a tour guide compared to other ones I have had. Thu (“the beautiful one”) had just started at the tour group and is learning the ropes but has so much energy and really made the tour fun, always smiling and very easy to talk to. The tour was by no means rushed and every minute was a lot of fun, they both made it like you were touring around with best friends (very smart friends), which made the whole experience so much better than a tour guide with a megaphone and flag. As well as seeing the sights of Da Nang (Marble Mountains, Son Tra etc) we also had breakfast, multiple coffee’s, visited street markets, had lunch at a popular locals pancake place and local beers. I could not recommend this tour group enough, and I can see them staying no 1 on TripAdvisor for a very long. Thank you for a brilliant day! — Traveller: GipQ from Tripadvisor

Better then the best, not to mention the rest!

We had a day tour of DaNang with two young women who were recent graduates of the local hospitality school. They were extremely knowledgeable, spoke perfect colloquial English (like “okay dokey” and “Go Bronco.” We hit all of the highlights of this town, and had a ball. The young women, Tran and Thu taught us heaps of Vietnamese while soaking up the religion and the culture. We went to the market and ate fruit as colourful as peacocks. We learned enough Vietnamese to get into trouble with the locals. Oh yes the food, we went to a local place call Banh Xeo on Hoang Dieu Street. The place looks like it needs a paint job but dug into the pancakes filled with vegetables, prawns and lamb. All washed down with a local brew. It is hard to find but the cab driver should know it as he probably eats there twice a day. Oh yes the driver, Thank (i think the spelling is right) should be racing cars on the circuit. He did such amazing things that his next job will be with Toyoyota So let me leave this review with a little Aussie we taught the girls: “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie-Oi Oi Oi.” — Traveller: Les M from Tripadvisor
