Quan was a fabulous tour guide. His command of English was far better than the tour guides we had previously in Vietnam. We could tell immediately he had more than just a superficial knowledge of the places we visited (i.e. meaning behind different monuments, history of Buddhism, history of Danang and the Vietnam War). We had a blast going around the Con Market– he bargained to lower the cost of some exotic fruits we bought (mangustan, longan, thieu litchi, rambutan). Of note, he takes excellent pictures. He knows not only the best places for pics but also how to use a camera. Not insignificant if you ask me. Great experience and worth the price.
