Da Nang Food Tour
Today my wife and I and another couple spent a few hours in Da Nang with Xuan. We had spent the past few days roaming around Da Nang looking for good places to eat but didn’t find anything great and authentic. We found her reviews on TA were excellent so decided to book a 4 hour private cyclo tour with her. It was one of the best value for money and educational experiences we could have asked for. Over the next few hours we visited 5 places and ate a range of great food that we never would have found, all authentic and all outstanding meals. She was a pleasure to spend time with and the riders were also great fun. Would absolutely put this on your list of things to do in Da Nang. — Traveller: TonyMathews from Tripadvisor
another three exciting days in danang
i arrived in danang on the 4th aug 2015.that evening xuan tu and lam picked me up from my hotel, and took me along the beech to seafood restaurant.there were all these bowls layed out on the floor.in each bowl was a different kind of live fish.you picked what you wanted, and then they cooked it for you.i could not make up my mind,so i left it to wonderful xuan tu to choose.what a fine choice she made.the evening was great. this time i rode on the back of the motorbike and felt very comfortable and safe.the following day she was busy, but in the evening xuan tu her mother and lam picked me up on the motorbikes and we went out to dinner,i must say it another wonderful night.this tour guide(xuan tu)is just wonderful,a joy to be with.the 3rd day xuan tu picked me up in a car to take me to the ruins of my son.she is so passionate and knowledgeable about her subject ,and loves to share it with you.i will never be able to visit danang without hiring xuan tu as my guide.xuan tu you are one in a million.thank you.you made my visit a great experience, well done.this was my second exprience with xuan tu. — Traveller: roger m from Tripadvisor
5-star guide
My boyfriend and I went on a privat tour with Xuan Tu in Hoi An and Da Nang. We have chosen the private tour with her after reading the several reviews on Tripadvisor: it was completely worth, she didn’t dissapoint us in any forms, far from it!!! She expanded our knowledge at a maximum level and we had a great time with her! Since the beginning, when she picked us up at the airport of Da nang, she made us feel comfortable with her very friendly way to welcome us. During the 3 days, she showed us the beautiful and diverse sides of these cities. I loved all the local places (included the food) she recommended. As a Vietnamese , growing up in Europe, i felt happy and fullfilled to learn and also to participate to the vietnamese culture! I am thankful that Xuan Tu made it possible and unfortgettable! Concerning her personality, she is a great young lady, who is definitely motivated to show you all you need to see. She is rich in knowledge and she is also very interested in your own culture and your personality! In addition, she can also make beautiful pictures hihi! Guys, i highly recommend this tour with Xuan Tu, not only because of her awesome personality as u could read in all the previous comments, but it’s her special way to transmit the information, her motivation and her will to show the rich culture and intresting history of Vietnam. So After few days only, she became my friend and i have seen and learned so much! Xuan Tu, Thanks for sharing the beautiful and funny moments together and for being an excellent guide! “Hen gap lai” – see you again my friend! — Traveller: voki040 from Tripadvisor
Xuan Tu perfect for Study Abroad
As part of an almost month-long university sponsored Study Abroad trip coming from the U.S., we hired Xuan Tu to help us out while passing through the beautiful cities of Da Nang and Hoi An. Put simply, Xuan Tu exudes a fantastic blend of professionalism and personality that makes each experience unique. She met myself and my colleague, along with 10 college students, at the train station in Da Nang, immediately directed us to some fantastic food (including vegetarian if necessary), and then guided us through an amazing experience of the nearby Marble Mountains. The following day, she expertly led our entire group through the streets of Hoi An, providing both important historical information during her presentations at each stop; but also providing specific viewpoints about all things local. The following day, completely suggested and planned by Xuan Tu herself, was a captivating bicycle ride over to and around Cam Kim Island, in which our entire group got to experience the unique aspects of local village life — including ship-building, local temples and food, basketweaving and woodcarving, and so much more! All in all, Xuan Tu was the perfect guide for our educational and cultural needs, especially for a group of college students on study abroad. I cannot possible rate her any higher, all of my students still rave about her (months later); and no doubt, when we again lead students through Vietnam, we will be getting in touch with our old friend, Xuan Tu! — Traveller: Alex S from Tripadvisor
It wouldn’t have been the same without her.
If you’re visiting Vietnam, you are missing out if you do not book a few days with her. I was part of a group of students on a study abroad trip, and she met up with us upon arriving in Da Nang and then accompanied us to Hoi An where we spent several days with her. Her high energy and vibrant personality immediately made us all feel welcomed and comfortable around her. It was impossible for her enthusiasm to not rub off on us. It felt like we’ve known her our whole lives. In other words, we immediately became best friends. Throughout our time with her, it did not feel like we were on a tour. It felt like we were visiting our long lost friend who just happens to speak Vietnamese and know where all the coolest places to go are. That’s another thing, not only is spending time with her a blast, you get to also go and explore and do a lot of extraordinarily interesting things. If you really want to experience Vietnamese culture, this is how you do it: WITH HER! — Traveller: Ryan H from Tripadvisor
