Highly Recommended & Personal Experience
We toured with our guide, Tommy, for two days and have nothing but great memories of our time. On our first day we were picked up from our hotel in Da Nang (The Intercontinental) and visited Da Nang. Highlights include: touring the city, Marble Mountain, local food spots, My Son, the Love Bridge and visited the Lady Buddha that night. During each experience we learned about the area, history, religion, and culture. The next day was technically an off-day for us and Tommy, but he stayed in touch and helped us find a great tailor in Hoi An (his hometown) and even arranged for a car trip home. His advice helped make the day that much more enjoyable. On our second day of touring with Tommy, we went back to Hoi An. The day started with a visit to the tailor for a fitting and we then proceeded to eat our way through the town. He created a unique experience tailored to helping us experience the best of the local food and culture. I would highly recommend contacting them for any of your touring needs! Fabulous Day Walking Tour of Hoi An
What a truly memorable experience. My wife and I booked a day tour of Hoi An. The itinerary proved to be an ideal way to gain knowledge of the history and culture of the area, and also a great way to immerse ourself in current day Hoi An. The attractions, activities and food were all fantastic. However, the real highlight of the whole day trip for us was our guide Tommy. Tommy was well-informed, polite and considerate for the entire day. He talked in detail about local customs, lifestyle and food with real enthusiasm. As a local he is definitely an ambassador for Hoi An. One fascinating aspect that we’ve rarely encountered from other trips was an insight of what it is like to be a young man in current-day Vietnam. Tommy was kind enough to share some information on family life in the modern day. Something that we both found completely fascinating. All in all, we were both absolutely delighted by the personal aspect of the trip and would thoroughly recommend the trip to anyone. — Traveller: Campbell F from Tripadvisor
Five stars all around
This day with Tommy in Vietnam was definitely our favourite day out of our whole holiday. From the time I contacted Xian Tu by email, everything was so professional. There was six in our party and we had a lovely big mini bus. Our guide Tommy was absolutely great. Always checking if we were happy with everything. Running around to get us poncho’s and umbrella’s – bless him. The vehicles aren’t allowed into Chan May port, so we had just a short walk to the other end of the port gates, where we were met. Sadly we had a lot of rain through the day so we had to cut our visit slightly short, but that was our choice. It makes the greatest difference having your own vehicle and guide rather than a large group. Tommy took us to a Vietnamese restaurant for lunch in Hoi An. OMG it was the most tastiest food we had all holiday. Everything was so fresh. We all had a starter, main and a drink and it only came to $24!! Thank you Tommy and Xuan Tu for making some wonderful memories. — Traveller: CarolSkid from Tripadvisor
Mot Hi Ba Yoooo!
Special thanks to Xuan Tú for acceding to our last min personalized tour request, despite running a full private tour schedule. Once we reached Da Nang, we were warmly welcomed by friendly Tommy Pan. We hit off well as if we already knew each other before. We enjoyed every bit of our half day Hoi An food tour, immersing ourselves in the unique culture of Hoi An city; we ate where the locals dined, made wishes at the river of water lanterns; bargained at the old quaint market. Half day Da Nang city tour, on the other hand, was enriching and insightful. Visit to the mystical Marble Mountains and the scenic journey to the Lady Buddha is a must. Tommy even brought us to the oldest coffee house in Da Nang, Long caphe to try the famous drip Vietnamese coffee while having our first bite of the yummy Bahn mi (Vietnamese baguette). The tour was nicely concluded with a scrumptious Mi Quang(frog legs noodle) before we headed to the airport for our flight home. Our 3D2N trip to Da Nang, albeit short, ended on a high note when our effervescent guide Tommy serenaded us with his rendition of ‘Cry on my shoulder’ song. Yes, Hello Vietnam, we will be back! And to Xuan Tú, Tommy and the rest of the team, mot hi ba yooooo!!! Cheers, Anne & Jeff — Traveller: AnneL4891 from Tripadvisor
Fantastic Hoi An
A fantastic day spent in Hoi An with Lam and Jame! Both of them are very personable and knew how to enhance every moment of our experience. A sweet surprise when Lam bought a cake to help celebrate my friend’s birthday! We had an enjoyable time with them and a friendship has been established too! Thanks guys!
