This day with Tommy in Vietnam was definitely our favourite day out of our whole holiday. From the time I contacted Xian Tu by email, everything was so professional. There was six in our party and we had a lovely big mini bus. Our guide Tommy was absolutely great. Always checking if we were happy with everything. Running around to get us poncho’s and umbrella’s – bless him.
The vehicles aren’t allowed into Chan May port, so we had just a short walk to the other end of the port gates, where we were met.
Sadly we had a lot of rain through the day so we had to cut our visit slightly short, but that was our choice. It makes the greatest difference having your own vehicle and guide rather than a large group.
Tommy took us to a Vietnamese restaurant for lunch in Hoi An. OMG it was the most tastiest food we had all holiday. Everything was so fresh. We all had a starter, main and a drink and it only came to $24!!
