Fantastic time in hoi an and danang

I contacted Xuan Tu before arriving in Vietnam to arrange a 3 day tour of hoi an, hue and danang. She did not disappoint. We had a fantastic time. She took us to try pho and Vietnamese baguette which was amazing. Also she recommended a tailor in hoi an to have some garments made. She got us a good price. And all of the recommendations she suggested were fantastic. We just wish we had more time in the places we visited. She is full of information and we learned so much about Vietnam and its history. She is very bright, bubbly and funny. This was by far the best tour guide out of the 4 we used whilst in Vietnam. Would recommend to use her for trips/tours whilst in the area. The driver was also very good and the car used was comfortable. — Traveller: 132HannahG from Tripadvisor

AMAZING, DYNAMIC, FUN, PROFESSIONAL AND A TRUE CAPTAIN OF INDUSTRY IN HER PROFESSION

I read about this truly amazing lady on Trip Advisor when we were looking for a private guide to show us around Hoi and Hue. Her reviews on Tripadvisor do her justice and more. Very rarely in life does one meet such a dynamic, enthusiastic young lady who knows so much about her country and also speaks excellent English and is so kind, courteous and generous. She blew us away with her personality, touring skills and knowledge of locals and the area and the entire trip is fun, fun, fun. She has excellent guides helping her and we went with the amazing young man called Lap who took us for a full day tour to Hue an ancient village and we learnt so much. Tu then the next day took us for a tour around Ho An and it was totally magical. From the amazing tea shop where the dumb and deaf people serve the best of tea you will ever drink and the atmosphere is just to be believed. Then onto the oldest house next door and we were taken to the back of the home to see how they live currently. We saw so much, well beyond what any tour guide would show us and with such compassion and empathy not only for us but for the locals and how to help them survive and prosper. Her studies in Melbourne Australia, has given her a true insight as to how Westerners live and learning about the art of excellent service and professionalism and amazing English. I can not reccommend her highly enough as you WILL NEVER FIND A TOUR GUIDE like Tu. Book many tours and you will just love her and become a great friend. Thanks Tu for giving us two magical days and we will never forget you and come and see us in Australia. What we also loved about you was your quickness in replying to emails, sending us detailed emails and honest advice as to what to do and when to do it and allowing us to PAY IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. So nice that you accept foreign currency as the current exchange rage. Thank you for everything and making our holiday so special and memorable. Xuan Tu The best guide We have ever had

We are a couple in 65 and we have never written any reviews on TripAdvisor before! But Xuan Tu deserves to gain first excellent review from us. We did three day tours all around Da Nang and the experiences were absolutely amazing. We toured around Da Nang, Hoi An, My Son and hue. All facsinating places with huge load of knowledge. She took us to beautiful places for vietnamese food that we couldnt find by ourselves. She is just 22 years old but she is so knowledgeable and passionate in her job. Like the others said, she is honest and confident and surely an old head on young shoulders. Xuan Tu, you become my new best friend and We wish you all the best in your life. We are looking forward to seeing you a successful young woman in your carreer and thank you for showing us how beautiful your country is. Cheers, Bradshaw from Uk — Traveller: Jude B from Tripadvisor

Xuan the best

I booked Xuan due to good reviews, all we can say she was excellent and gives out vast information. I informed her that 8 of us are deaf thus sign language is our first language and explained about our wheelchair user friend. On the first day, I mentioned how we communicate with previous tour guides in Hanoi and Hue, without hesitate she stopped the driver outside the stationery shop and bought two white boards and pen at her expense and bought 8 in the following day :-). She immediately writing down details of the plan, we never seen her write so fast and her English is pretty good. On the first day, she led us to a short ferry to Cam KIm island, she ensured one of our wheelchair user friend has access to the ferry, two staff from the ferry made no hesitate forming a ramp using two wooden planks, visiting the island was worth visiting. Back to the mainland, little did we know that Xuan surprise us visit a superb The Reaching Out Teahouse that employs 8 deaf Vietnamese in the heart of beautiful Hoi An, we were so excited and they did too, the tea room was so tranquil, We had their traditional tea and coffee served with super homemade biscuits. We were in awe how deaf staff communicate with hearing customers, we highly recommend anyone to go there and we became great friends with two of them whom we are now in contact. Xuan was fantastic ensuring we enjoyed the 2 days trip including My Son’s sanctuary, a vast history of Champa and Shiva, we also visited Lady Buddha on Marble Mountain in Da Nang. Thank you Xuan for being a wonderful tour guide and being a great friend, you have learnt a lot from us and vice versa — Traveller: suz1961 from Tripadvisor

A true gem

Xuan Tu brought my family out for 3 days around Hue, My Son and Hoi An. My 80 year old grandmother came along on this trip and required a wheelchair as she was unable to walk long distances- I was pretty worried about this initially but all my worries went away when I saw how much xuan tu genuinely cared for the elderly. She was very accommodating and thoughtful for my grandma which I am extremely grateful to her for. In our group of 6 with a range of different interests, she managed to personalized our tour and still kept it interesting for all of us. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained things very well. She started off as a tour guide but ended up being a friend. On our last morning, she met us to bring us for breakfast before we left to the airport. She was kind enough to spare her time before her next tour as she wanted to make sure that we managed to try more Vietnamese food. Besides that, Xuan Tu can also double as a food guide. She knows the best places to eat at and we enjoyed every meal she brought us to. Who needs food tours when you can have Xuan Tu? Seriously! You won’t regret taking a tour with this young, intelligent and kind soul as she will go out of her way to ensure you have an enjoyable time. — Traveller: jillianjinlynh from Tripadvisor
