Memorable trip in Da Nang, Very good tour!
Our family of five planned to take a relaxing trip in Da Nang. We searched information online for the sightseeing in Da Nang. On tripadvisor, we found many favourable comments about xuan tu tours. We once doubted if such comments were spontaneous and genuine. We then browsed Xuan tu tours website and got very useful information of da nang. We decided to ask them to plan a 4-day guided tour for us. It turned out that we had made the right choice. Xuan tu was very responsive ever since the planning process and gave useful advice for us to choose and pick. The charge was reasonable. On the arrival day, our flight was delayed for three hours. The tour guide was a young energetic man, named Lam. He was patient and sunny. He was also very friendly and customer-oriented to modify some itinerary to meet our requests. He brought us to try different local foods and showed us the daily life of Vietnamese. When my brother left his hat in the basket boat and only found this missing at the next stop, Lam liaised with the boat operator and sorted it out quickly and returned the hat to us in the next day. Besides, he was caring to my elder mother as well. The cars were clean and comfortable and the drivers were cautious in driving. Moreover, as my brother left our trip earlier to fly to Ho Chi Ming City, Xuan Tu was very kind to give him recommendations on “see and dine”. We all appreciated their service and had a good time with them. — Traveller: Creamery from Tripadvisor
Excellent Guide!
Having a great tour guide made all the difference to our trip to Hoi An, Hue and Danang! Lam was friendly, knowledgeable and very thoughtful anticipating our every need while showing us the sights of Hoi An and Hue. He took excellent care of the group and kept us entertained throughout with his wit and stories of Vietnam. Thanks Lam for making it a truly memorable trip to Hoi An! — Traveller: AnitaM4207 from Tripadvisor
Awesome day trip to Hue
A highly enjoyable and informative day trip to Hue! Our lovely guide and driver picked us up on time for our full day trip. First we set out along the Hai Van Pass which was fun and offered great sights. Then upon arrival to Hue we visited a former royal residence, the royal place, the tallest pagoda in Hue and the tomb of the 12th king. All were simply fantastic. Our guide provided great commentary on all the key sights and I really felt like I learnt a lot. The guide had great English and knew a lot about Hue and its history etc. She was friendly and had a great sense of humour which made the day that much better. She also took us to a local restaurant for lunch were we sampled some main dishes of the region which were all yum and again this added to our experience. The trip back to Da Nang offered some more great sights and we were back at our hotel slightly ahead of schedule which was great. The day was well organised, nothing seemed rushed but no time was wasted. I will also mention the car was clean and comfortable and the driver was excellent, I felt safe at all times in the hectic traffic. Would highly recommend this tour. — Traveller: allissone from Tripadvisor
Excellent Danang Day Tour
During our 12 days in Vietnam, we went on 5 different private tours, and this was probably my favorite. Although Danang was not my favorite city (Hue was!), Lam made our day trip around Danang so much fun! What stood out about our tour with Lam was that he asked questions, listened to what we told him, and no doubt took us to places based on this information. We have lived in and have traveled the Asia region extensively, and it is so hard to find a tour guide that doesn’t just do a “made for the masses” itinerary. Of course Lam took us to visit all the main tourist sites, but he also took us to several less-touristy, more local places to eat and have coffee. In fact, at one of the locations, we were the only tourist! His information didn’t seem scripted, he was full of enthusiasm for his city and country, and it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend for the day. The weather wasn’t great the day we were there, and instead of just dragging us along as most guides do to stay on schedule, he was flexible and came up with options that we were very happy with. I can’t say enough great things about Lam and our day tour. Unfortunately, Xuan Tu had limited availability as I booked at the last minute during the peak holiday season, otherwise I would have gladly booked every tour her company has to offer! — Traveller: TrishaC999 from Tripadvisor
