Good Tour!
We join the Danang/Hoi An tour and started with drinking coffee in a local coffee house which is very interesting. Our tour guide, Lam is a very energertic person , good English and he knows everything about Vietnam. Excellent day tour in Hoi An
This review is long overdue as I have been wanting to send my praises for the fabulous time we had with our tour guide, Tommy, back in January 2017. My husband planned a surprised birthday trip for us to Da Nang. We spent several days in Da Nang and on my birthday, he organized a private day tour with Xuan Tu tour company to explore the culture and food scenes in Hoi An. Our tour guide, Tommy, was very knowledgeable and funny. He and his driver picked us up from our hotel at Lang co Banyan Tree at 9:30am, and began our drive to Hoi An. Given he is a local of Hoi An, he shared with us a lot of history and culture information about Hoi An and Vietnam. Most importantly since we love to eat, he was able to bring us to the local food spots, some hole in the wall places with excellent pho places. We wouldn’t have known to go to these places as they had no English signs in the store front and they looked as if we were eating at someone’s home kitchen. We also did a private boat ride, went to observe the fishing village, had more street food (skewers, tofu pudding, rice paper rolls, more pho, cute local coffee spot) and toured around the Hoi An area. We ended the evening with him taking us and helping us order at the Banh Mi place that Anthony Bourdain went to. He and the driver waited for us and then drove us back to the hotel. They were so accommodating and flexible. By the time they dropped us off, it was 10pm and they had to drive back another 1.5 hours home back to Hoi An. We had also asked them for recommendations for our subsequent days and he suggested where to go and eat after our golf round. Both Tommy and Xuan followed up with us and make sure we had a great time. I promised i would write a review. Even though this has been a year overdue, I still have vivid and wonderful memories of my experience with them and that was certainly one of the highlights of my trip to Da Nang. Great Tour Operator
Finding one tour operator is not easy at all especially if we are new and no one recommends us. It is just like gambling. However, we tried to plunge ourselves to pick one and we are lucky that we choose the right one. Lam our guide is helpful and pleasant. All of us (ten people) were more than pleased to have him. Cracking tour around Da Nang with Lam.
We had a Da Nang private tour with Lam.. Picked up in good air con Toyota fortune. Great tour exploring the caves and tunnels of the Marble mountains, a drive by My Khe beach, a visit to a local coffee shop, tasting local Vietnamese food and visiting 18th century Pagoda of Ling Ung on Son Training peninsular with the 67m high Lady Bhudda. Heavy rain storm hit but Lam was prepared and gave us umbrellas from car. Lam was very informative and has a great personality, ask him anything and he will gladly advise, Overall we had a fabulous day trip around Da Nang and glad wee booked. Amazing Experience in Da Nang
