Best tour guide in vietnam
We had the great fortune of having Xuan Tu as our private guide during 2 days touring in Hoi An and Da Nang. Her expert local knowledge and easy-going, fun character made our visit a huge succeed. She planned the itinerary in such a way that we had the best of places to experience and the best of sights to see. Xuan Tu is very knowledgeable and she really loves her city. She understands the energy and enthusiasm of the tourists and reciprocates with double the energy. Thank you Xuan Tu! — Traveller: Kelvin T from Tripadvisor
Crazy fun with Xuan Tu. Best guide in Vietnam!!!!!
In life, there are times when you meet the right people. Xuan Tu (pronounced Song Two) is one of them. She is the tour guide for our boys trip to Danang and Hoi An. We were all expecting some old hag to pick us up for our Hoi An trip but we were so wrong! A young, bubbly, knowledgable and funny lady appeared and we started on one of our most enjoyable two day trip for Hoi An and My Son/Danang! Xuan arranged for us everything. We didn’t have to worry about safety or transportation or going hungry! We started our trip with half an hour drive to Hoi An and we bought our awesome straw hats! Xuan rented bicycles for us and we took the ferry across to Cam Kim island! Xuan introduced to us about the history of the island, the ancient dockyard, the family temple, how to make rice paper and noodles! We even get to meet the the oldest woman living in the island! Xuan gave us an immersive experience to the culture surrounding the Vietnamese people. All these was done by cycling around the island! If you want the first hand experience, let Xuan guide you! For lunch, she brought us to the famous Ban Minh, that was well recommend by Anthony Bourdain (Masterchef). After that,it was Hoi An city tour! We visited the heritage site and we were kept well informed by Xuan and her unending knowledge. She was approachable and she answered every single question from us! We had tea and coffee in one of the shops where they only employed the deaf and mute! We sat there and soak up the atmosphere of the old city. Dinner was at a local hawker directed by Song and it’s really delicious!! After dinner was home sweet home and the end of a fantastic day! Xuan is really a nice girl and she bonded really well with us. She picked us up at our Villa and we went our way to the My Son sanctuary. That place was sacred and Xuan gave us so much information! She made sure that we drank enough water due to the hot weather and mind our steps as the ruins involved abit of climbing. The sanctuary cost us the whole morning but we had learned a lot of the history of My Son. Next were more local delicacies introduced by Xuan. We will never be able to taste so much traditional dishes if we had done the trip ourselves. Next was Marble Mountain! The view was magnificent and the Marble Buddha was carved out from the mountain! The place was really holy and the cave gave us a sense of serenity. Xuan again gave us a detailed overview of the mountain. She was also joyful and kept everyone spirits up! Next was the Lady Buddha which was 67m tall! It was a sight to behold! Time and again, Xuan surprised us with her knowledge! Afterwards, was seafood dinner! Song brought us to a place where we were able to pick the live seafood that we are going to eat. It was freaking awesome and tasty! It was sad to leave Danang and Hoi An. Especially the company of Xuan Tu. We learnt a lot from her and also her dreams of furthering her studies overseas and expanding her tourism business. Her attitude is commendable and she has never stop pursuing her goals! I will definitely recommend my friends who is visiting Danang to have her us your tour guide. 5 stars for you Song! We will meet again when you come to Singapore! — Traveller: Robin C from Tripadvisor
Private day tour to Han Oi
We just spent an amazing enjoyable day with Xuan Tu in Han Oi. Even though the weather was extremely wet Xuan made our day a very memorable one. If you want a guide who has a wealth of knowledge of the area (and born and raised in Danang) then you must book her. You will be very satisfied with her tours. We will definitely be booking again on our return to Vietnam. — Traveller: Dwnunda from Tripadvisor
She is the best tour guide I ever met
Before booked her as my tour guide, I read her reviews. I use Trip Advisor all the times, but this is the only one I agreed on the “reviews” totally. Things written on her are true. She is here for the no.1 and 99.999% excellent for reasons. She always does her job with 100% heart and enthusiasm. She tried to show the culture of her country, not just shopping or luxury hotels/ dining etc. E.g. I have hired her for the Hoi An tour. She took us to an island nearby for a cycling trip. She has made contact with the local people and they are happy to receive us and show us their work and life. Never a moment we feel being pressured to pay tips or buying things. I trust her paying the people involved fairly so that all of us are happy. We also took the Danang, My Son and food tour trips. My family traveled a lot but we all agreed we see a lot more with her being a guide. She just made the trip more memorable with more details, stories and remarks. She takes the best group photos. Rarely a guide will remind you, find you the best spots, and check the photo to see if they are taken property. She is a clever and ambitious girl too. I wish her dream may come true one day. All the best to her. — Traveller: Serena W from Tripadvisor
Absolute Highlight of Our Trip!!
If you a planning a trip to DaNang/Hoi An, a private tour with Xuan Tu is an absolute must! She is a friendly and caring guide that makes you immediately feel like you are traveling with a best friend. She is truly a beautiful person and this is clearly seen on the tour by how the local Vietnamese people interact with her. Everyone recognises her with affection and will go out of their way to help, share and interact with her tour groups. You will have a fabulously unique, entertaining and enjoyable time with Xuan Tu and you will also sample some of the best food you will eat in Vietnam. I am sure that like us you will wish you had more time to spend exploring the city with her and have a hard time saying goodbye. — Traveller: Nancy R from Tripadvisor
