Great day tour of Danang
We just completed a wonderful day tour of Danang with Duy. He is warm and friendly, and took very good care of us. I especially appreciated how he arranged a surprise birthday celebration for my travel mates which I requested at short notice through Xuan Tu. Guide With Heart, Lam from Xuan Tu
Very pleased to have Lam as our guide when my hubby booked a day trip through Xuan Tu. Left me very deep impression when he emphasized the importance and value of “heart” he practises as a guide which is aligned with his company’s belief. Of course it is also our family core value. Feel very good when he instilled that to our teenagers and small kid during the trip, too. He is very humurous and fun to be with. Places and people he brought us to did not make us feel we were being taken advantage. We have lots of laughter and jokes throughout the trip. Thank you Lam. It is your sincerity and heart that made us felt comfortable, relaxed and comfortable and well taken care of. Hope to see you in Singapore and our Buffalo Ning can show you around.Just joking. Simply the Best
The Trip Advisor score for Xuan Tu of over 500 five stars is a very solid starting point when deciding on your tours in Hoi An and Danang and the score is so very well deserved. You simply could not choose better than Xuan Tu and her team for putting together a travel itinerary that will leave you with life long happy memories of your tine in Vietnam. I made contact with Xuan Tu after reading her reviews on Trip Advisor and looking at her website content. Xuan Tu was very prompt in responding providing me with ideas for an itinerary based around my broad interests of understanding more about Vietnamese culture, how Vietnamese people live in Danang and of course the important landmarks and specialities that name up Danang. Before I knew it I had a prepared itinerary to hand that I was really looking forward to undertaking. I combined my full day Danang tour with accomodation at Xuan Tu’s family home (Mai Homestay) where I had the privilege of being a guest of Mrs Mai (Xuan Tu’s mother). See my seperate review re the Homestay but in a word it was excellent. As to the tour I undertook with Xuan Tu, I had the best day. We started at 9.30am and at about 1.00pm when we first looked at our watches we were both amazed and shocked at where the time had gone. We were having such a great time that time literally seemed to fly. By the time the tour ended later in the afternoon I had had a superb day. I felt that I had been travelling with a good friend as opposed to being in a tour. There were so many highlights. Simply travelling and sharing stories was one but the Lady Buddha statue and surrounding complex was excellent. I was able to learn so much and Xuan Tu was able to put everything into perspective by explaining Buddhist beliefs. My time at Marble Mountain was equally as good. Whilst you can visit Marble Mountain by yourself you will not be able to fully appreciate what you are seeing without a guide. Xuan Tu led me into some magnificent caves and she knows a secret in one of them that will give you the most unusual picture that you will not capture on your own. Visits to the market and to places for food and drink provided further opportunities for learning and laughs. Exploring Danang city including the beautiful beaches and bridges rounded out a magnificent day. A large and well equipped vehicle and safe and friendly driver made the travelling around on what was a hot day very pleasant. As I hope is evident from my review, I loved my day on tour and combined with the Mai Homestay I had two wonderful days in Danang for which I thank the Mai family for. Private Tour exceed our expectations
We are a family of six with four kids ( 18, 17, 15 & 8 yrs old ) Saw the good reviews on Tripadvisor on Xuan Tu team ( we booked only when we are in our 2nd day in Hoi An ) Decided to book a full day tour with them. Its half day village & half day ancient town. Tour guide is a young gentleman named Lam. We have a really great time, its fun & educational. By the time we finished its about 10pm. Lam was really sincere & took great care of us. I’ve book another 2 days trip with different tour agency ( rank quite well in Tripadvisor as well ). One is a half day food trip & the other a full day trip to Ba Na hills. We very much prefer the services with Xuan Tu team. As we never feel they are trying to bring us to places / restaurants where they may get a cut for that. We try to book Xuan Tu team again for two more trips & would really love to have Lam as our guide again ( full day trips & cooking class by Xuan Tu’s mum) but they are fully booked for the rest of week – which is why we end up booking from two other tour agency ) Kudos to Xuan Tu & Lam for such a wonderful job & I’ll recommend anyone to Hoi An to engaged their services. Amazing tours of Central Vietnam
Amazing tours of Central Vietnam! My husband and I just finished a three day tour with Lam in Hoi An, XuanTu in Danang, and Lap in Hue. They were all really fantastic tour guides! We have been on very similar tours before in other countries and with only spending a week in Danang we knew the best way to see the sites in our time frame was through a private tour. Lam, XuanTu, and Lap were great in understanding what we wanted to see and making sure that we were getting the full experience of Vietnam. They all knew so much about the history of the sites and taught us so much we did not know about Vietnamese history and culture. We were also very thankful they all were very tentative on keeping us cool during the heat. June is the hottest time of the year in Vietnam and it was hot. From making sure we always had cold water to drink, stopping in areas with fans or A/C, and to finding shaded cover from the sun while discussing the history of the sites they really made the heat bearable to really enjoy the sites we were seeing.
