Fantastic Tour of Da Nang and Hoi An
Our group of friends had a great time from our private tour organized by Xuan Tu, where we were picked up from our cruise terminal. We thoroughly enjoyed all our sight seeing stops. Hoi An is an amazing world heritage site with beautiful architectures adorned by colorful lanterns. My personal favourite is the place where we had our coffee break, which charming and authentic, not to mention the wonderful drinks. Our tour guide My, speaks fluent English and shared interesting facts of the sites we visited. Private Hoi An sightseeing/food tour and private Ho Chi Minh City tour
This is our second time using Xuan Tu Tours. We are a family of five comprising my wife and I (age 59 and 61) and three adult children (ages 21, 24 and 26). We were visiting Da Nang and HCMC via the cruise ship Celebrity Millennium. We were met promptly at Chan May dockside by Lam and after some introductions and a summary of our pending tour, we were quickly whisked away to Hoi An in a spacious van. Lam is very knowledgeable, accommodated our other requests and has a great sense of humour. After a full day of well paced cultural sightseeing and experiencing Hoi An’s food scene, we were dropped off on time at our ship and bid farewell to Lam, who said that his “brother” would be meeting our family in a couple of days at Phu My port for our private tour of HCMC. Lam had told us earlier in the day that he was the only son in his family, so we were perplexed. We were very surprised when Lam showed up to meet us dockside at Phu My!!! He had taken the train down from Da Nang the day before and would again be our tour guide in HCMC. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lam as our guide and enjoyed another long day visiting all the must-see places in HCMC (loved the trishaw ride!) and experienced some South Vietnamese cuisine/coffee along the way. Courteous, creative, and comedic Vietnam Tours
My family and I went on two separate day tours with Lam in both Danang/Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City, and were so impressed with the professionalism, character, and broad general knowledge that he held. The tour company, guide, and driver made it easy for us to walk from our cruise to our vehicle when we first stepped foot on land, and as foreigners, were treated with the luxury of air conditioning, delicious local food catered to our tastes, endless historical facts from our knowledgeable and hilarious guide, and more. Cam Kim Island and My Son sanctuary- Full Day Private Tour
Of our 3 weeks in Asia this tour delighted our family. We took an all day tour which included biking through rice patties and a boat ride to Cam Island. It was so much more than seeing sights, though we did see alot. Xuân Tú (pronounced ‘Soong To’) gave us an authentic experience an presented the human side of Hoi An and the surroundings and the people. She was also very knowedgable and gave us the background needed to appreciate My Son. She was very warm and personable and made shore our family enjoyed the day. She started this tour company and created a gem as we also were thrilled with the other guide, Lam who took us on another full day tour. Fantastic daytrip with tour guide Lam!
We stayed in Da Nang for 1 day during our South East Asian cruise and were picked up by our fabulous tour guide Lam. From the cruise port we started our private tour (4 persons + Lam + his very friendly driver) to Da Nang (Marble Mountains, Laddy Buddha, local market, Dragon Bridge) an Hoi An. Lam showed us the best spots, shared very interesting information and gave us a great insight in authentic Vietnamese lifestyle. We tasted delicious Coconut-Coffee (great!), Egg-Coffee, the best Banh Mi in Hoi An and we were the only foreign visitors of a local market where Lam helped us to negotiate. After a great und memorable day we were back on time at the cruise ship. All in all we can highly recommend a tour with Xuan Tu Tours and especially our tour guide Lam!!!
