Excellent Danang Day Tour
During our 12 days in Vietnam, we went on 5 different private tours, and this was probably my favorite. Although Danang was not my favorite city (Hue was!), Lam made our day trip around Danang so much fun! What stood out about our tour with Lam was that he asked questions, listened to what we told him, and no doubt took us to places based on this information. We have lived in and have traveled the Asia region extensively, and it is so hard to find a tour guide that doesn’t just do a “made for the masses” itinerary. Of course Lam took us to visit all the main tourist sites, but he also took us to several less-touristy, more local places to eat and have coffee. In fact, at one of the locations, we were the only tourist! His information didn’t seem scripted, he was full of enthusiasm for his city and country, and it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend for the day. The weather wasn’t great the day we were there, and instead of just dragging us along as most guides do to stay on schedule, he was flexible and came up with options that we were very happy with. I can’t say enough great things about Lam and our day tour. Unfortunately, Xuan Tu had limited availability as I booked at the last minute during the peak holiday season, otherwise I would have gladly booked every tour her company has to offer! — Traveller: TrishaC999 from Tripadvisor
Excellent day tour in Hoi An
This review is long overdue as I have been wanting to send my praises for the fabulous time we had with our tour guide, Tommy, back in January 2017. My husband planned a surprised birthday trip for us to Da Nang. We spent several days in Da Nang and on my birthday, he organized a private day tour with Xuan Tu tour company to explore the culture and food scenes in Hoi An. Our tour guide, Tommy, was very knowledgeable and funny. He and his driver picked us up from our hotel at Lang co Banyan Tree at 9:30am, and began our drive to Hoi An. Given he is a local of Hoi An, he shared with us a lot of history and culture information about Hoi An and Vietnam. Most importantly since we love to eat, he was able to bring us to the local food spots, some hole in the wall places with excellent pho places. We wouldn’t have known to go to these places as they had no English signs in the store front and they looked as if we were eating at someone’s home kitchen. We also did a private boat ride, went to observe the fishing village, had more street food (skewers, tofu pudding, rice paper rolls, more pho, cute local coffee spot) and toured around the Hoi An area. We ended the evening with him taking us and helping us order at the Banh Mi place that Anthony Bourdain went to. He and the driver waited for us and then drove us back to the hotel. They were so accommodating and flexible. By the time they dropped us off, it was 10pm and they had to drive back another 1.5 hours home back to Hoi An. We had also asked them for recommendations for our subsequent days and he suggested where to go and eat after our golf round. Both Tommy and Xuan followed up with us and make sure we had a great time. I promised i would write a review. Even though this has been a year overdue, I still have vivid and wonderful memories of my experience with them and that was certainly one of the highlights of my trip to Da Nang. I wish we had more time so that we could have taken tours with them to visit Hue and other nearby cities. I would highly recommend their service. — Traveller: kathleenkwong from Tripadvisor

Tour from Danang to Hue with Hau (13 June 2018)
Booked the trip in April 2018 and I must say since the start of the booking (enquiries made via email), Xuan Tu has been very polite. For my trip to Danang, I have enquired a few tours with other agencies before deciding to go with Xuan Tu Tours not because it is the cheapest but because through my exchanges, Xuan Tu has sounded sincere and knowledgeable and she gain my trust to engage her tour. I have requested for a Chinese speaking guide, but I am glad Xuan Tu is responsible to inform me beforehand that my initial guide cannot make it for the tour and she has arranged for an English speaking guide for me. Although Xuan Tu isn’t my guide, she has sent an impressive young lady, Hau as our guide. There is a slight hiccup on the meeting time, but the tour turns out well. Hau has a positive attitude. Despite her young age, she is candid, proactive, cheerful and treats her job as a guide with pride. She is flexible and resourceful. Eg. She has introduced us a lunch spot, but we decided to go to a lunch place and gave Hau an address. The place is slightly hidden but Hau managed to call and communicate with the owner, and we are able to dine at the place. When my mum wanted to buy some local snacks (this is outside the itinerary), Hau is able to recommend and we bought really nice snacks back for our family and friends. Most importantly, Hau has a heart of empathy. As my mum has problem with her knees and finds it hard to climb the stairs, she volunteered to carry my mum’s bag even though this is not part of her job as a guide. She even helped us to take lovely photos of the sites. Overall, the places we visited and the pace of the tour is just right. It is suitable for family (with kids and elderly), and Hau’s presentation of the history of Nguyen dynasty and stories are engaging. Driver Han is also experienced and polite, and despite the long journey there is no discomfort felt. Plus, among the drivers I have engaged in Danang, he is one of those who make us felt assured of our safety. Lastly, I would also like to thank Xuan Tu Tours for your nice little gesture and gift of the lanterns. They are beautiful. If I know anyone who need a tour in Central Danang, I will definitely recommend Xuan Tu Tour. — Traveller: IrisN366 from Tripadvisor
