Da Nang and Hoi An Tour with Quan.

We departed the “Voyager of the Seas” at Da Nang to be met by Quan (“just call me Q”) on the dockside. The booking process to this point had been easy and trouble-free and all enquiries were answered quickly and well. We piled into the car (more about that later) and were presented with cool wipes and water upon departure. Q’s English was impeccable and he showed lots of interest in us, our country (Scotland) and our travels. We told him that we wanted to go and visit a few areas that interested us (China Beach and a local market) and he took us there with no problem, even though it probably didn’t suit his schedule for the tour – sorry Q!! We enjoyed a great meal in a local restaurant that he recommended then went on to see the sites of Hoi An, the Marble Mountains and the big Buddha in the afternoon. We were keen to ensure that we got back to the cruise ship for 6.30pm at the latest (departure was 7.30pm, so we left a little wiggle time) and despite a very busy and full day, he got us back just after 6pm – fantastic! My only slight quibble was the car – a 7 seater, yes, but the 2 rear seats are designed for kids, not adults. They were very squashed and uncomfortable for those in the back. We were a group of 4, so there was plenty of room in the back seats for 2, which were very comfortable indeed. The driving can be 1.5 hours each way from the port, so if you’re thinking of doing this as a party of 5, just be aware that these rear seats can be an issue. This issue though is typical of the layout of many of the vehicles we saw at the port, so no just restricted to this company and certainly did not impact on what was a very worthwhile buy. To summarise – a great company, great tour guide, great locations and the best day we had on our holiday where we visited several ports in 14 days. Highly, highly recommended and very good to deal with – book with confidence….thanks to all involved – and Q for his great day out! — Traveller: HallidayScotland from Tripadvisor

3 Days Tour in Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue

I am glad that I used Xuan Tu Vietnam Tours during my stay in Danang Oct. 2017. This was my third visit to Vietnam, and this tour company, so far, provided the best service. First, the detailed correspondence with Xuan Tu was very helpful during the planning of my trip. She was prompt and thorough with her email replies. The 1st day, Hoi An tour, my guide Quan took me around Hoi An. He had excellent english and was very helpful and knowledgeable. My guide for my Da nang, My Son and Hue tours was the lovely Thuy. She was very pleasant and her english was excellent! –Taking me around and explaining everything that I needed to know about the places and things. I would recommend Xuan Tu Vietnam Tours to anyone visiting Da Nang and nearby attractions. — Traveller: goovargas from Tripadvisor

Hoi An Da Nang Private Day Tour

Communicated with Xuân Tu for customised private at the last minute and she could still work out a very interesting itinerary based on our suggestions. We started off with the round fishing boat tour & tried fishing tiny crabs which was interesting. Then the lunch at the Tra Que organic vegetables & herbs Village was delicious. The organic herbs juice was really good and refreshing after the tour in the around the fields. Our guide, Thuy, speaks good English made the visit to The Marble mountain & Lady Buddha in Da Nang quite interesting and informative. We also tried traditional coffee at a local coffee shop & had a look around a big local market in the down town area. Overall we learnt a lot about the local culture. Thanks to our very informative guide, Thuy. They also took care of all details such as offering ice cold water & wet wipes and the car is in very new & a/c very good. The driver always pick up or drop off at the closest place which was excellent in the heat or rain. Would definitely recommend them for private tours. — Traveller: 192wanm from Tripadvisor

Tour of Da Nang and Hoi Na

We were a group of 8 who hired this company for a Private Tour of the Da Nang and Hoi An area. Our guide, Lam, met us at the cruise ship……..and we had a fantastic day. Lots of sites, local lunch and coffee shop visit. Highly recommend Lam and this tour company. — Traveller: pmallen from Tripadvisor

A wonderful way to explore Hoi An!

We are so happy we booked this private tour in Hoi An! Lam was our tour guide and from the start he was friendly, fun and full of interesting facts about the city. Our tour was a combined food and sightseeing tour which was absolutely perfect – eating our way around Hoi An? Yes please! He took us to some incredible and authentic food spots, taught us some Vietnamese words (though I still can’t pronounce anything!) and showed us some interesting sites giving us plenty of information along the way. They don’t take commission for the places they take you to, they simply want to take you to the best places they know of and want to support small family run businesses. His passion for Vietnamese culture, history and food was infectious and we are so happy we had him as our guide. Yes, it’s quite pricey, but in the end you forget about how much you paid and just remember the great times you had on the tour. Thank you for a wonderful tour! — Traveller: Sophia F from Tripadvisor
