We are so happy we booked this private tour in Hoi An! Lam was our tour guide and from the start he was friendly, fun and full of interesting facts about the city. Our tour was a combined food and sightseeing tour which was absolutely perfect – eating our way around Hoi An? Yes please!
He took us to some incredible and authentic food spots, taught us some Vietnamese words (though I still can’t pronounce anything!) and showed us some interesting sites giving us plenty of information along the way. They don’t take commission for the places they take you to, they simply want to take you to the best places they know of and want to support small family run businesses.
His passion for Vietnamese culture, history and food was infectious and we are so happy we had him as our guide. Yes, it’s quite pricey, but in the end you forget about how much you paid and just remember the great times you had on the tour.
