Thumbs up to Xuan Tu Tours and Lam
We joined a day tour to Hoi An departing from Da Nang and it was nothing short of amazing ! We were greeted first thing in the morning by our fantastic guide turned friend Lam at our hotel lobby, and our tour brought us to the fun basket boat rides in the coconut village to the historic old town of Hoi An, with a serene lunch in between at a local vegetable farm. Lam spoke fluent English with an incredible sense of humor and was knowledgeable in detailing the history and information of each stop along the way. He even brought us to experience the local culture through walks in the alley ways to street food tasting which we would never have done by ourselves. Great tours experience – despite the pouring rain!
We had two tours booked back to back – Da Nang and Hoi An and then My Son on the following day. Braved the downpour on both days and turned out to be a grand experience. On the first day, Quan and Mua Thu were our guides to Da Nang and Hoi An. They were really accommodating and friendly. Took time to explain each site and location. The climb up the Marble Mountain was a bit treacherous with all of the water running down the steps (mini-waterfalls, as Quan called it). We spent the afternoon with a visit to Hoi An – highlight was towards the end of the evening with all of the lanterns lit. Second day tour to My Son started in the afternoon with our tour guide Lam. He was humorous and very personable. It kind of felt like getting a tour from a friend. Again, it was raining- but that didn’t damp our spirits. Hoi An ancient city tour
The tour is amazing. We specially requested a mandarin tour guide as my parents don’t understand English turns out he is very helpful and friendly, we are impressed. He shows us all the best street food in town. Also explained the history and fact of Da Nang and the Hoi An Old town which is very interesting and informative. We spent a great afternoon and evening here and highly recommend Xuân Tú tours. Excellent Tour
Did this tour privately with Lam. He was a great tour guide, personable and knowledgeable. Would accommodate anything of interest I would like to do. Went for a boat ride in the round fishing boats, rode a water buffalo and toured the beautiful town on Hoi An. Highly recommend this tour company for any tours including their Homestay. Mai Homestay, trip to Hoi An and cooking class
Mai Homestay определенно лучшее место в Да Нанге! 5 минут пешком до пляжа, уютная комната, очень приятная гостиная на первом этаже и, что самое важное, необычайное радушие хозяев! Xuan Tu – главный организатор, она ответит на любой вопрос, подскажет по любому поводу, порекомендует ресторан, и составляет прекрасную компанию за завтраком или просто чашкой чая 🙂 Lam также готов помочь в любую минуту, когда мы только добрались до них первый раз, очень поздно вечером, он проводил нас в кафе, где ещё можно было поесть. Ребята отлично владеют английским! Миссис Mai, хозяйка дома, содержит его в чистоте и готовит вкуснейшие (и очень большие!) завтраки местной кухни. Можно также попросить приготовить европейский завтрак, но об этом стоит предупредить хозяев заранее. В Mai Homestay вы можете пользоваться всем чем вам необходимо, включая чай в гостиной в любое время. Ребята никогда к вам не равнодушны и не пробегут мимо по своим делам – обязательно спросят, как дела, как прошел день, или просто присядут вместе попить чаю и поболтать. Чувствуешь, что им действительно важно, чтобы тебе прекрасно отдыхалось! Наш отъезд из Да Нанга был поездом в 23:00. Нам организовали поздний выезд из комнаты, однако очень радушно предложили отдыхать в гостиной, выпить чая, принять душ, если захочется! Миссис Mai сделала нам в поезд бутерброды на завтрак ^^)) и накормила нас необычайно вкусным десертом!! Мы брали также прекрасный тур в Хой Ан. Гиды Quan и Thu – очаровательные и веселые ребята, провели с нами весь день и совершенно не было ощущения, что надо куда-то торопиться и мы как-то в чем-то ограничены. Они отвели нас в прекрасный ресторанчик с морепродуктами и красивым видом на город, дали нам пообедать в романтической обстановке, дожидаясь за столиком внизу, и мы уехали из Хой Ан уже затемно – там очень красиво после захода солнца и определенно стоит пройтись по этим улочкам снова. Миссис Mai провела нам кулинарный мастер класс местной кухни! Мы выбрали блюда, которые хотели бы приготовить, она подготовила все ингредиенты и под ее чутким руководством мы приготовили самый классный ужин за все наше пребывание! 🙂 В общем, Mai Homestay заслуживает наивысших оценок и настоятельных рекомендаций для пребывания в Да Нанге! Mai homestay is definitely the best place to stay in Da Nang! 5 min to the beach by foot, cosy room, very nice living room and the most important is the very friendly hosts. Xuan Tu is the boss 🙂 She answers any question, gives recommendations about restaurants and any other things, and always makes a nice chat during the cup of tea. Lam is also ready to help whatever you need, late evening we’ve arrived he showed as the place where we could have dinner. Guys are fluent in English! Mrs Mai, the hostess of the house, keep it clean and cooks very nice (and big!!) local breakfasts. They also can make a european style breakfast for you, but you should tell them about this in advance. In Mai Homestay you may use anything you need and also drink nice tea in any time. Hosts are always asking about your day and if you need anything, you feel that it really important for them. We needed to go from Da Nang by train at 23 pm, and we were allowed for late check out at 16 pm, and the only reason that not at 23 pm were another guests coming (otherwise we may stay at room till the train goes). But we were kindly allowed to stay in living room, have tea and even have shower 🙂 Mrs Mai made sandwiches for our breakfast in the train! ^^) and also an extreamly good dessert!! We had a perfect trip to Hoi An from Mai Homestay with our nice gides – Quan and Thu. Guys were all day with us, told and showed us a lot of interesting things of Hoi An, brought us to nice seafood reastaurant with beautiful view to the city. We left Hoi An after dark – it is very romantic at this time) Also Mrs Mai made a cooking class for us – we chose the dishes, she prepared all the ingredients and gided us through the cooking process.
