The perfect food tour of Hoi an
We had a perfect tour of Hoi An with Lam and his trainee Thinh. These young guys were generous with their knowledge of Vietnamese life and were delightful companions as we toured the streets for five hours eating street food and in small restaurants, laughing a lot and traveling at an easy pace. Lam is bright, sensitive, sincere and respectful, loves a joke and knows how to sort out IT problems (he’s an IT graduate). And, importantly, for our tour, he had sorted out some great food stops that helped to demystify the local cuisine. Lam loves his job in part, as he says, because while he is helping visitors to get to know his country, he is also helping his people to earn a living. A memorable trip to Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue
First time to Vietnam, and certainly not my last! Our group had a wonderful time experiencing the local culture and visiting the beautiful places in each city — all thanks to the itinerary drawn up by Xuan Tu Tours and the amazing company of our tour guide, Lam. Excellent day trip to Mỹ Sơn heritage sanctuary
We found Xuân Tú’s tour company 3 months ago on TripAdvisor and made our enquiries on a variety of tours. Her response was quick, clear and detailed. We settled on a day trip to Mỹ Sơn sanctuary as it was close pr to us in Hoi An. We were surprised when Xuân Tú herself punctually picked us up from our homestay to guide us on our tour. The tour was excellently done. Xuân Tú is very knowledgeable about the history of Mỹ Sơn and was able to point out all the small details of the ruins and explain their significance. We had a great conversation during the ride there and back to Hoi An where she shared her views on life in Vietnam and on travelling. After the tour, she brought us to an excellent vegetarian restaurant in the Old City of Hoi An and took some extra time to help us get some good deals on some shopping.
