We settled on a day trip to Mỹ Sơn sanctuary as it was close pr to us in Hoi An. We were surprised when Xuân Tú herself punctually picked us up from our homestay to guide us on our tour.
The tour was excellently done. Xuân Tú is very knowledgeable about the history of Mỹ Sơn and was able to point out all the small details of the ruins and explain their significance. We had a great conversation during the ride there and back to Hoi An where she shared her views on life in Vietnam and on travelling.
After the tour, she brought us to an excellent vegetarian restaurant in the Old City of Hoi An and took some extra time to help us get some good deals on some shopping.
