Danang and Hoian
We have just spent three incredible days with this fantastic tour company.. First day picked up from our hotel by our wonderful guide Khanh.We travelled in a very comfortable late model air conditioned car with a very calm and careful driver. Firstly we toured Danang City. Khanh pointed out all the focul points and the history behind them. He speaks excellent English ,answered all our many questions and nothing was too much trouble. We travelled the spectacular Havan Pass. Took lots of photos. Dropped back to our hotel, freshen up a bit. Khanh then took us to a wonderful and inexpensive restaurant where we had a delicious dinner of that famous pancake dish. Khanh showed us how to eat them,even rolling them up for us. They were delicious. He then escorted us to a roof top bar quite close to the Dragon Bridge,where we enjoyed a drink while awaiting the Dragon breathe his fire and water. An incredible experience,not to be missed. So much better with a kind caring guide like Khanh. We enjoyed Khanh so much we cancelled our hotel tour to Ba Na Hills and also booked Xuan Tu tours again with Khanh as our guide again. This toured exceeded our expectations..Words can’t explain how good it was. Just do it. The Tour manager Xuan Tu even took the time to come to our hotel to meet us. She is a lovely little thing who is so passionate about her country and wants to share it with every one. Today was another wonderful day,but in Hoian this time. This was my fourth visit to Vietnam in four years..I have done many tours with different companies but this is the absolute best !! We are older Aussie ladies and I have one bad knee. Khanh held my hand going up and down stairs and took care of all our needs. The tour price is very fair. It’s tailored to our needs and requests. Best Tour – so far
Cruise tour. Ms. Trump was our guide (pronounced Trum – we eventually learned.) Perky, little, funny, happy. Monkey Mountain for Lady Buddha – get there before the tour buses. Marble Mountain – OK to do just the bottom caves. Hoi An – fun shopping and a lunch at a “restaurant” recommended by Trump that served about 10 people max – delicious. 50/50 Tour – terrific
We did the 50/50 tour with Lam, starting in Da Nang, and finishing in Hoi An. It was an exceptional tour, seeing many of the big draws in both cities (Dragon Bridge, Lady Buddah, Marble Mountain, Old Hoi An). How memories are made
Our family of 3 spent an entire week with Khanh Nguyen of Xuan Tu Tours sightseeing and food tasting around Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue. We had such an amazing time (apart from the heat & humidity) that this was arguably the best time we had in our travels over the years. Khanh was an excellent guide, spoke good English and catered to our every needs. We definitely made a friend for life. The food tours were by far my favorite as we were able to eat like locals and in some cases in someone’s home. The food we ate were all amazing and delicious. There is a huge coffee culture in Vietnam and Khanh took us to plenty of local coffee shops. Lam was amazing!!!
The four of us booked a full day tour to Hoi An. What an amazing full day. Started off with the bamboo boats, a must! Learning about the local herbs and farming at the Tra Che village. Then getting mesmerized by the beautiful city of Hoi An. What made our day so memorable was Lam! Lam was our guide, he was very flexible and accommodating! Other than history, we also like to shop and eat, which he offered great recommendations for food and helped us bargain for goods. He was over and above kind, genuine and honest. You can’t help but adore him. I don’t believe there was any question he couldn’t answer! In total we tried more than 20 dishes with Lam! Some we would have never tried if it wasn’t for him. At the end of our day, we requested for a massage, he dropped us off at a massage place that offered great massages at a fair price. Lam had such attention to detail such as: – using the flashlight on his phone to shine the path for us in dark alleyways – personally bringing our banh mi to our table to lessen the wait – checking our bills for accuracy – using code words so we know when a vendor gave us tourist prices – hunting for a dress Iiked in various shops – bargaining for smaller portions with vendors so we can try more food – sharing way more tip to the driver than we expected so the driver can be happy. I received quotes from 8 different tour groups and Xuân Tu was the most expensive but Lam made it all worth it! Make sure you request for Lam!!!
