Danang and Hoi An
We had a great 2 days touring Danang, Hoi An and My Son with Lap! He was so knowledgeable and accommodating always trying to show us as much as possible and share history, culture and traditions of Vietnam! We enjoyed the tour and Lap’s company a lot. Fabulous day spent in Da Nang and Hoi An with tour guide Lam
We had a fabulous full day spent in Da Nang and Hoi An with Lam, our tour guide for the day. His Enligsh was impeccable and he had a witty charm that made the day a lot of fun! Despite some iffy weather (there was a bit of rain off and on), Lam kept us in very positive spirits throughout the day, and showed great enthusiasm as he sought to give us the “local” experience. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone in our group (including someone with a vegan diet), and wanted to get to know us on a personal level. The tour kicked off with a stop in a local coffee shop (we had to be the only non-locals there), and the day proceeded with a number of sightseeing stops, where Lam helped us avoid the crowds and focused our attention on what we wanted to see most. In addition to all of the sightseeing, Lam also arranged lunch at a very authentic local restaurant, which was a very nice way to break up the day. The vehicle was clean and in meticulous condition. Danang Hoi An & Hue day tours
Duy ,an English speaking guide ,from Xuan Tu tour brought us out for the three days and we were treated with lots of history and information on the tours.The schedules are flexible and he is receptive and adjusting to our needs. Insightful and enjoyable tour of Danang
Did the food tour of Hoi An one day and a tour of Danang and My Son the next. Both were insightful to the local culture and customs. The food tour in particular brought us in a walking tour of Hoi An, led by our very capable guide Lam who not only ordered the various foods, from the famed baguette recommended by Anthony Bourdain, to the local versions of chicken rice, spring rolls and other local fare. Go hungry and skip lunch, cause this 6-hour tour, which for us began at 3pm, pretty much filled our tummies progressively over 10 dishes. Our guide Lam was instrumental in getting us waiting seats in crowded stalls, and getting the right amount ordered so we sampled just enough without stuffing ourselves and leaving no room for the next dish. In between – shopping! And again the guide was great in telling us where the tourist traps were and where we could get real bargains, from Local craft to snacks. In all instances he interceded to bargain for better prices, which could be half what the original offer by the vendor was! The tour also took us to the heart of Hoi An where we sat in boats and let go lit lanterns filled with our wishes. A true postcard memory. The food tour is highly recommended. The tour of Danang and My Son took us to Marble Mountain, and more importantly to the ancient temple site in My Son. The drive to My Son took a little more than an hour and the trek to the relic site did require a fair amount of walking, but it was well worth it, having never visited ruins dating back a thousand years! Again, the guide Lam gave us pertinent information and was highly accommodative in finding toilets etc for our group of 8. But he shone on day two when he recommended a seafood restaurant for dinner that was both treasonable in price and the selection of seafood fresh and varied! All in, I’d recommend going with this tour company, which bends backwards to accommodate our wishes and schedules. Da Nang & Hoi An Private Tour with Xuan Tu Tours
We spent an entire day with Tram, our tour guide, touring around 2 cities, seeing beautiful places and trying many different yummy local foods. Tram was very sweet, genuine, caring and considerate! She constantly tried to take care of us from providing sanitizer, tissue papers, umbrellas, bathroom breaks and etc. Thanh, our driver was a very nice guy!
