Excellent guide

Xuan Tu is a terrific guide and our tour of the world heritage listed My Son sanctuary was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. We can’t speak highly enough of this company. The driver Cong was a very safe driver and his car was brand new with plenty of space. My Son is a peaceful and beautiful slice of Vietnam and a must see for those visiting Hoi An or Da Nang. We learnt about the history and architecture of the complex and much much more about Vietnamese life. Thank you Xuan Tu!! — Traveller: danielhP7235EW from Tripadvisor

Ba Na Hills Tour, Hoi An Tour and Street Food Tour

There were 6 of us in the group. Personally, it was my 1st time in Da Nang. Lam is our tour guide for the tour to Hoi An and Ba Na Hills. Tina took us for the street food tour. Both are very good tour guides. Good English and knows their ways around very well. Enjoyed the street foods Tina took us, she is very professional and considerate throughout the tour. Constantly checking that we are being taken care of and ensuring we get to taste all the street foods she has arranged for us without us overeating and ordered smaller portions for us. There was a super long queue at the cable car station going up Ba Na Hills. Lam is good and he managed to assist us to a shorter way to the cable car. He is also good at avoiding the big tour groups and we managed to cover the attractions smooth and with minimum wait. He also managed to be in “Priority” queue for the popular Banh Mi shop at Hoi An, we got our Banh Mi in less than 10mins, where normal guys need to wait at least 20mins. He sure knows his ways to make our tour a pleasant one! Overall, we enjoyed the 3 days tour we have booked with them and I will definitely recommend my friends to use their services when they are in Da Nang! Kudos to the guys at Xuan tu Tours! — Traveller: Alsw4912 from Tripadvisor

Highly Rate – 50/50 Da Nang / Hoi An we the Lam

Booking this tour was so easy and stress free with Lam, our incredible private tour guide.. He picked us up at 10am sharp from our hotel and we headed off for a 50/50 Tour of Da Nang & Hoi An – 10hr tour. We were told the itinerary is totally flexible and because our resort was right near the Marble Mountains, this was our first stop. Lam was very knowledgeable and told us so many incredible stories, that this place blew me away! He even gave us a Vietnamese reading lesson, which I found very fascinating (being a teacher), in how the various symbols above letters changed the tone and/or pronunciation! Second stop, Lam wanted to take us to the market where the locals shop, as tourists usually head to the Han Market in Da Nang.. The locals were intrigued by us, some reaching out to touch my very white (or sweaty red) skin! We got some great bargains here and Lam helped us to barter in the local language. Third stop, Cong Ca Phe, for Vietnamese coffee. We tried the coconut coffee and the coconut cacao and both were very delicious! ️ Fourth stop, we headed off to see the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam, The Lady Buddha. The statue leans on the mountain, facing the sea, the kind eyes looking down, a hand exorcizes while the other hand is holding a bottle of holy water like sprinkling the peace to the offshore fishermen. On the hat of the Lady Buddha statue, there is a Buddha statue 2m high. There are 17 floors in the statue lap, each floor has an altar with 21 Buddha statues which have different shapes, facial expression and posture. With it being 38 degrees and the humidity soooooooo high, there was no chance I was going to climb up to see even 1..️ Our Fifth & final stop, we headed to the famous shopping town of Hoi An. Wow.. just Wow! Hoi An TOTALLY blew me away.. The atmosphere, the shopping, the food, the beauty.. just everything! What an incredible place & experience.. Lam even organised a special candle ceremony, where we released them onto the river, while making a heart felt wish! It was sooooooo magical that a few tears may have fallen from my eyes as I let it go onto the water thinking about my late mother..Hoi An by Night really was a Treat! Nothing was any trouble during this trip – down to the aircon SUV, cold ice towels and water every time you got in and out of the car, photos taken and even Lam carrying around our shopping so we could experience the day/shopping even more.. It was self paced and Lam made it feel like we had known him for years! I will be back with my family and will DEFIANTLY be booking with Xuân Tu Tours again! You guys are amazing! ️ — Traveller: kylieg697 from Tripadvisor

Private Tour to Hue

We had a wonderful time on this day trip to Hue with Lam as our tour guide. Besides the itinerary as advertised on Xuan Tu Tours’ website, Lam also took us to 2 gem of a place; one for local coffee and another for an “imperial” lunch! Both were fantastic! Lam speaks good English; guided tour was great with detailed explanation of the history of places we went. This was a private tour, so a Toyota 4WD was provided for our transport. Will not hesitate to recommend Xuan Tu Tours to anyone looking for a guided tour in and around Danang/Hoi An! — Traveller: theanwh from Tripadvisor

Like having a sister of a friend show you her hometown

I visited Viet Nam for the first time, and My (for English-speaking folks, pronounced “Wee”) as the guide and Vu (rhymes with “you”) as our driver showed me around Hue, Da Nang (My’s home town), and Hoi An over 4 days. Vu was dependable, always where we needed him to be when we needed him there. Safe driver, good navigator, and friendly and accommodating. His English was not as good as My’s–whom I would describe as “conversational” if not “fluent”–so we spent most of our time with My. And she is a total delight! Young, vibrant and genuine. University degree in tourism, but more like a friend-of-a-friend who knew you were coming to town and wanted to proudly show off where she grew up. We have traveled a lot and had many tour guides, but this was the first that I felt like we were with family and not a commercial counterparty earning her keep. What do I mean? She had opinions. She engaged. She laughed at us when we did silly things, and then explained why in her culture they were silly. She said silly things and listened when we explained why, to us, they were silly. She asked questions about our lives, she asked about pictures we showed her of our lives back home, and she talked with enthusiasm about her own. She worked tirelessly at helping us in our attempts at pronouncing the Vietnamese word for “delicious.” Apparently, we kept saying “vomit” instead, and she laughed at us and tried to demonstrate. She wouldn’t let us bail on one particular stop (Marble Mountain outside Da Nang) when it was getting late and we were tired–and marveled with us when she saw the sights at dusk in a way she had not seen them before (because we had her out way past the normal time). I could go on, but instead I’ll say count yourself lucky if you can line her–and/or Vu–up to show you around this amazing part of the world. — Traveller: Donald M from Tripadvisor
