Da Nang/Hoi An Private Tour

What an excellent way to start our holiday in Da Nang! We had 9 people in our group ranging in age from 6 to 56. We all had a great day with lots of laughs, good food and terrific information regarding culture and heritage. Xuan and her team are extremely professional and nothing is too much of a hassle. — Traveller: Trischa B from Tripadvisor

Da Nang and Hoi An tour

5 star tour from start to finish. By far one of the most professional tours I have experienced and you will not feel like you are going through a tourist machine. If you want to experience the culture, history and beauty of both Da Nang and Hoi An these tours are a must. Our guide was Tommy who was fantastic fun, very knowledgeable and full of passion to share all that Vietnam has to offer. As part of the Hoi An tour you will meet some local families supported by the company’s charity program and learn their traditional way of life. It was great fun to make noodles and help weave sleeping matts along with spending some time with locals in the community. If you have any interests or question don’t be shy to ask as the guides are very helpful and keen to ensure you are satisfied. If needed the guides can alter your tour to accommodate your interests. For example: Tommy discovered I like coffee during the Da Nang tour so the next day in Hoi An took us to a coffee shop and introduced me to egg coffee. Well worth a try Little tip if you book this tour and have Tommy as your guide. He is a fantastic photographer and will happily take plenty of photos of you during the trip. — Traveller: reece t from Tripadvisor

Anthony is awesome

We did 4 tours with Xuan Tu, 1 in Hanoi, and 3 in Da Nang and all of then were excellent. We had 3 different guides for the 4 tours, but by far my most favorite guide was Anthony. He was polite, punctual, knowledgeable, and spoke English very well (all the guides did). We did 2 tours with Anthony in Da Nang, one to Hoi an and one to the Cham museum and My Son. I would definitely recommend everyone to request for Anthony if you plan on booking a tour with Xuan Tu in Da Nang. — Traveller: G7RSl from Tripadvisor

Great Tour Guide

We used Xuan for a day trip whilst staying in Hoi An, we chose her because of the reviews on Trip Advisor, and what a great choice that was. We chose the Da Nang and Hoi An full day tour. The day was brilliant, Xuan took us to places that other tour operators do not go to, so it made the day special. The tour is advertised as a private tour and it certainly is, all modes of transport were just the 3 of us and of course a driver, and where necessary a captain of the boat. I cannot praise Xuan high enough, a score of 11 out of 10 would be more appropriate, the day just flew by, and Xuan sense of humour was certainly another highlight of the day. Her knowledge of her country was amazing, and all our questions were answered, and we have come back with a real understanding of Vietnams culture. If you are in Hoi An, and fancy a tour, Xuan is definitely the person to use. Dave and Louise — Traveller: SouthamptonDave from Tripadvisor

Best Da Nang Food Tour with Xuan Tu and her crew

This is my third visit to Vietnam and my second experience with Xuan Tu tours. My son and I enjoyed immensely our DMZ motorbike tour with Xuan Tu and her riders in 2013 so I looked her up again and luckily she was free for 2 days. Arriving after a tiring flight from Australia she and her friend Lam met us at the airport like old friends. A comfortable, air conditioned car was a welcome relief as she whisked us away to the cool breeze of An Bang beach in Hoi An to just chill out with cocktails and catch up with memories of our last time together and how her business has just exploded with popularity and for good reason. We organised to be picked up later for a cyclo food tour of Da Nang at 5 pm. I struggle to describe this experience for that is what it was – an “experience”. This tour is not just about food, although I could say a lot of great things here. Xuan Tu has created a tour where food meets culture along with the beautiful sights of Da Nang in the evening. Our cyclo drivers don’t just carry you around. They interact with you in a hilarious way, they share the meals with you, the laughter comes thick and fast even though they don’t speak English. Universal body language is sufficient and Xuan and Lam are ready to interpret. My rider, “Mr Remember” was a load of laughs. What impressed us was the obvious affection between Xuan Tu and “her” family of riders. As she explained, the people she employs are like a great big extended family. She has a powerful social conscience and see’s her success as a blessing in her Buddhist belief, to be shared. She see’s other tour guides working for just $10 per day, regardless of group size and won’t allow this to apply to her. Her ethics, honesty and integrity are most important to her beliefs as can be attested by her many excellent reviews and her well deserved no 1 TA rating. The food…… The tour takes you to places normal tourists wouldn’t dream of finding. Small vendors often carrying on the family tradition specialising in the same dish for several generations and not used to westerners visiting despite being in central Da Nang. The food can only be described as very special. 8 dishes at 6 locations, difficult to remember them all, from noodles with seafood, to rice dumpling cakes, vermicelli with fish and shrimp sauce, rice paper rolls, fermented pork sausages and coconut jelly with ice cream. My vegetarian wife had plenty of options. In Vietnam, unlike the west, meat is the accompaniment rather than making the mail meal. When my wife and I eventually laid down on our pillows our heads were filled with special memories and despite being dogged tired found sleep difficult with these great experiences. We have booked her Hoi An walking tour in a few days. We couldn’t wait to see them again! — Traveller: FairEnough54 from Tripadvisor
