Highly Recommended & Personal Experience

We toured with our guide, Tommy, for two days and have nothing but great memories of our time. On our first day we were picked up from our hotel in Da Nang (The Intercontinental) and visited Da Nang. Highlights include: touring the city, Marble Mountain, local food spots, My Son, the Love Bridge and visited the Lady Buddha that night. During each experience we learned about the area, history, religion, and culture. The next day was technically an off-day for us and Tommy, but he stayed in touch and helped us find a great tailor in Hoi An (his hometown) and even arranged for a car trip home. His advice helped make the day that much more enjoyable. On our second day of touring with Tommy, we went back to Hoi An. The day started with a visit to the tailor for a fitting and we then proceeded to eat our way through the town. He created a unique experience tailored to helping us experience the best of the local food and culture. I would highly recommend contacting them for any of your touring needs! Mot Hi Ba Yoooo!

Special thanks to Xuan Tú for acceding to our last min personalized tour request, despite running a full private tour schedule. Once we reached Da Nang, we were warmly welcomed by friendly Tommy Pan. We hit off well as if we already knew each other before. We enjoyed every bit of our half day Hoi An food tour, immersing ourselves in the unique culture of Hoi An city; we ate where the locals dined, made wishes at the river of water lanterns; bargained at the old quaint market. Half day Da Nang city tour, on the other hand, was enriching and insightful. Visit to the mystical Marble Mountains and the scenic journey to the Lady Buddha is a must. Tommy even brought us to the oldest coffee house in Da Nang, Long caphe to try the famous drip Vietnamese coffee while having our first bite of the yummy Bahn mi (Vietnamese baguette). The tour was nicely concluded with a scrumptious Mi Quang(frog legs noodle) before we headed to the airport for our flight home. Our 3D2N trip to Da Nang, albeit short, ended on a high note when our effervescent guide Tommy serenaded us with his rendition of ‘Cry on my shoulder’ song. Yes, Hello Vietnam, we will be back! And to Xuan Tú, Tommy and the rest of the team, mot hi ba yooooo!!! Cheers, Anne & Jeff — Traveller: AnneL4891 from Tripadvisor

Happy trip and worth it

First trip to central Vietnam, Da Nang and I chanced upon this forum. i contacted Xuân Tú (pronounced Soong Tú) she was very patience and provide good suggestion, We decided to opt for this tour packages (Da Nang and Cam Kim island Tour). Xuan Tu did not attend to us but assigned her colleague, Tommy to take care of us, me and my friend. On the date of the tour, i was not feeling too well in the morning, our tour started at 9am. We did the first stop at the local coffeehouse and Tommy noticed that i was not feeling well and suggested that i should go back to the hotel and rest for an hour before heading off to Hoi an. i was grateful to him and seek his advise. He came by again at 11am to pick us up at the hotel, although i am not well but an hour of rest did calm me a bit, we proceed to Hoi AN. Tommy was a patience guy and he gave many suggestion throughout the journey. Happy Buddha :-)

Just back to our hotel after a fantastic afternoon with Xuân Tú. A couple of months ago my I contacted Xuân Tú to see if she could help my wife and I with a tour around some of the sights of DaNang. We had a free Saturday before we left the area to head to Hanoi and Xuân Tú happily recommended the key sights and adjusted the timeframes to suit us. All was arranged via email, with very prompt and detailed answers. Xuân Tú was also happy for us to pay on the day, no deposit needed. We were met early at our hotel in Hoi An and immediately felt comfortable with Xuân Tú. Her English is superb, she is funny, knowledgeable and absolutely “down to earth”…. she is very quickly just like a friend spending the afternoon with you. We took in the Marble Mountains, great coffee, off the track food (which was excellent), a *very* local market, Lady Buddha and some of the lights and sights of DaNang at night. We would absolutely recommend Xuân Tú to anyone looking for a guide around the DaNang, Hue and Hoi An districts. — Traveller: timwK9738NG from Tripadvisor

Felt like an old friend

We booked a last minute day tour of Danang and were lucky enough to have Xuan Tu (sounds like “song two”) as our guide. It was a great tour of the city with stops including Marble Mountain, the giant Lady Buddha, a market and more. She could not have been more helpful, everything from helping us find a laundry service for our clothing to giving us ideas, tips, and contacts for the rest of our stay in Vietnam. Every step of the way she made sure that our needs were met. We stopped at a local coffee shop for delicious Vietnamese coffee, and an out of the way local restaurant for lunch that was absolutely delicious. No way would we have found it or tried it on our own. Xuan did all of the ordering, translating, and negotiating for us through the day. You could tell Xuan Tu loves her city and makes sure that you will see it in it’s best light. It truly felt like we were out for the day with an old and dear friend. You can not go wrong with her service! — Traveller: glennc282 from Tripadvisor
