Simply the best
We were fortunate to have this tour company recommended to us so prior to leaving for our trip we organised two separate tours. Both of these tours with guides Tram and Lam were excellent as they are locals and tours can be arranged from your personal requirements. Tram took us to Da Nang where we visited the Lady Buddha and the temples close by where she explained the culture about the Lady Buddha. We also visited a local coffee shop to drink Vietnamese coffee with the locals, went to the local market and went to lunch in a restaurant with all the locals. Our tour with Lam would be to Cam Kim Island, Hoi An and to My Son Sanctuary. We took a local boat from Hoi An crossing Thu Bon River to arrive at Cam Kim Island. Here we saw craftsmen using traditional methods to build boats and carvings plus see the production of rice paper and mats. These people work extremely hard and do this so their children may get a decent education. We would have lunch at the Banh Mi Phuong in Hoi An where the most famous Banh Mi are served. The afternoon we traveled to My Son Sanctuary about 1 hours drive from Da Nang. My Son was the capital of the Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 13th centuries as is listed as a World Heritage site. Here there are the remains of tower/temples of that time. Xaun Tu Tours not only have excellent guides, use modern air conditioned vehicles with excellent drivers, do not take commissions from purchases made and do not use tourist vessels but use those used by the locals. they also care for the people whose homes we visited on our tours. — Traveller: Richard J from Tripadvisor
Amazing experience…Highly recommend
We had traveled the north on our own and enjoyed our experience but having a guide for the second leg of our visit made a world of difference. We were met in the Huê airport by our guide…Lam…the car was waiting and well appointed with a cold bottle of water. We started our adventure with a meal of authentic Huê specialities, having the accompaniment of someone whom spoke Vietnamese made a world of difference but it was his thoughtfulness that truly gave our visit a personal touch. With this meal as with every meal he took great care to garnish the meal for us and as he did explain the ingredients, how it was prepared and a little of the significance of the foods. From there we had a very full day visiting the sights of Huê and the surrounding Perfume River area. It was a long, informative, interesting and awe inspiring day, with the best part being our visit to the Celestial Lady pagoda. We had amazing weather and were able observe to Buddhist monks praying and chanting, to call it moving would be an understatement. From that day we felt a great connection with Lam. He worked with us in an exemplary capacity with his knowledge and care explaining the sites we visited with great detail as well as a solid sense of humor. Each day we felt very connected and kind of in on a secret pass to places and knowledge that a first time westerner would not see or do. I would highly recommend this travel service they are very organized and communicative and go above and beyond in every way. — Traveller: Selina G from Tripadvisor
Amazing food experience
We had the morning Hoi An Food tour this morning and it was amazing. It was a very nice way to explore the city, get to know about Hoi an and Vietnamese culture and of course to know about Hoi An traditional street food. Lam was our guide and it couldn’t get better than him. Amazing guy, always smiling, curious and funny and with eagerness to tell us personal stories to reflect and share a bit about his culture! Definitely worth it — Traveller: AlfredoRhinos from Tripadvisor

We highly recommend Lam as a tour guide. We were so happy he was with us on both tours – Hoi An and Da Nang food tour. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about DaNang and the surrounding areas. He loves his job and it shows. He spoke English very well so it was easy to communicate with him. — Traveller: SteveR689 from Tripadvisor
