Honeymoon with Lam
Our day cannot be more prefect. The full day tour was personalised by Xuan Tu with the attractions we wanted to include: My Son, Hoi An ancient town, Anthony Bourdain famoused Bahn Mi, Local food and coffee. Xuan Tu is friendly, responsive and has a true passion in sharing the beauty of her country. We felt the same energy with the guide we had- Lam. The energetic Lam greeted us with a big smile in the morning at our hotel in Danang, where we made our way to My Son in a comfortable vehicle. We appreciate Lam’s knowledge of all the places we visited, his sense of humour, the interest he has taken to know us and the extra mile he went to ensure we were well looked after. He is also a great photographer, we had some of our best pictures of the trip taken by him. We have travelled the world in the last 10 years and have many experiences with travel companies & guides around the world, we knew straight away from the interactions with Xuan Tu and Lam that the day was going to be good And it met every expectation, truly sensational. We would recommend anyone we know to travel with Xuan Tu Tours. Honeymoon with Lam was definitely a highlight of our trip in Vietnam. It was worth every dollar. Thank you for making Hoi An a special place to us. Ben and Rachel — Traveller: RachelH5112 from Tripadvisor
2 tours, 2 excellent experiences
Went on 2 tours with them, 50/50 Da Nang and Hoi An as well as My Son. We had same tour guide for both, Vi. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Clearly enjoys what she does and wanted us to have the same passion and understanding of her country. Despite poor weather we had a great time and got to see everything we expected. The places we ate were great with several well known local dishes tried and enjoyed. They were very responsive with all communication and were on time and professional in all ways. Definitely recommend them. — Traveller: Sarah H from Tripadvisor
Great Experience with Xuan Tu
Great Tour Guide. We had the pleasure of having our Tour of Da Nang with Xuan Tu herself. She was super knowledgeable about her city and clearly loves her city. In planning for this trip, She was very quick to answer all of my emails and was very clear in her responses to my queries. When our plans slightly changes after the first day, she was very understanding and helped us make the arrangements that we needed. I would not hesitate to use her and her team again for any trip to Da Nang or Hue. — Traveller: todd w from Tripadvisor
Daughter of Vietnam Veteran Tour
If you are a Vietnam veteran or the family member of one this is the tour for you! My father server in the Army with the 1st Air Cav in 1968, ’69 and ’70, I wanted to walk in my father’s footsteps. Before I went Xuan Tu (pronounced Song Two) asked me with what unit my Father served and the years he was there. She did research and took me every place he was, even places that I didn’t know about! I took a private two day tour, she will take you anyplace that you want to go, and as I said she will suggest places that are not to be missed. Her English is perfect and she knows everything there is to know! Don’t be afraid to go to Vietnam, you will be safe with her, I was a woman and was by myself. The people of Vietnam welcomed me with open arms and open hearts. I didn’t expect this, but they did. I also didn’t expect to make a friend, but that is what Xuan Tu became, a friend. She went above and beyond to make my tour the trip of a lifetime that has become a part of my soul. I simply can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It is worth every penny and then some. — Traveller: MicheleMahone from Tripadvisor
Amazing!
This is our 3rd trip to Hoi An and 5th tour with Xuân Tu. Our previous 4 tours have been amazing experiences and this tour to Hue was no different. Our party of 6 was met at our hotel by Lam. He is a brilliant tour guide who is very knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and Hue. The trip from Hoi An to Hue takes about three hours and we had several stops long the way. Along the way we stopped at a great place for lunch where he recommended several dishes, and he asked if we wanted to stop at a local market where we sampled a few local delicacies. The citadel and imperial palace is an amazing site to see, and over a few hours Lam guided us through 1,000 years of history. The weather was not great on the day and one of us had mobility issues. Lam customised the tour to suit us and we finished by having a great conversation over a cup of coffee. What really stands out is the care and attention Xuan Tu and Lam have for their customers. Lam made sure that everyone was safe crossing roads, gave us water, umbrellas and regularly checked if there was anything else we needed or wanted to do. On the way home he offered to stop for dinner at his local Bahn Mi street vendor. This is not one we would have found on our own so we were all keen. Lam told us they were good and they certainly were the best Bahn Mi we have had in Vietnam. Throughout the day we really enjoyed talking to Lam and we learned a lot about life in Danang and Vietnam. We now have a new friend in Lam and we are looking forward to doing another tour with him next time we are back. In addition to being amazing tour guides, Xuan Tu through her tours also supports local people to stay in their traditional industries to protect their heritage. Irrespective of what tour you are looking to do Xuan Tu will give you an amazing experience. We highly recommend Xuan Tu and her team. — Traveller: Rene_and_Rachel from Tripadvisor
