Walking Tour of Hoi An
It was a great day, Hotel pickup, very friendly guide, Vi, who our children adored. Boat to see interactive rice noodle/paper making (and we sampled product), mat weaving, wood carvings… then onto old town, markets and Lanterns. Hoi An is beautiful at night. My only suggestion would be to stay in Hoi An for dinner. We went to a small but popular eatery 10 mins drive away. Ok, it’s famous, but none of us found the food special and it lacked the magic atmosphere of Hoi An. Otherwise a great day and Vi also helped us arrange travel the following day to Ba Na Hills. — Traveller: Kojak_CNS from Tripadvisor
Tours in Danang and Hue
The tour was great as we had a very good guide-Lam who knew his facts and explained the sights very well. He could answer any question we threw and always watched out for us to see if we needed help when walking steps on the trip etc. He also showed us local spots for food and shopping which we thoroughly enjoyed. He speaks English quite well too. Thank you Lam! — Traveller: tan_ss13 from Tripadvisor
Da Nang and Hoi An exploration
Seven of us. (3 generations) booked a tailored tour with Xuan Tu tours and our guide, TuMai created an amazing day for us. Each place we visited, she provided interesting background on, and, knowing we were “foodies”, she had worked in several opportunities for us to experience and taste aspects of local food culture. TuMai’s sense of humor and wonderful thoughtfulness made this an unforgettable experience for each of us. — Traveller: Diane K from Tripadvisor
The best tour guide
We booked our tour with Xuan Tu Tours while traveling with a cruise in order to explore Danang. Lam, our tour guide, met us in the port. We couldn’t have chosen better. Lam took us to important tourist points that were unmissable, but also took us to experience very interesting local sights such as a cafe and a market in which he showed us the local food, snacks and delicacies. His choices made all the difference in making our adventure through Danang unique and remarkable. Xuan Tu Tours is great, but our special thanks goes to Lam, who with his genuine enthusiasm, great knowledge, humbleness and huge heart, helped us see how rich, diverse and interesting Vietnam is. — Traveller: 824carlad from Tripadvisor
A food experience of Hoi An
Our tour guides Lam and Peaceful( sorry I don’t know her Vietnamese name) were absolutely wonderful. We were a party of 6 Australians, 3 generations Father Peter, grandfather Peter, grandson Timothy Peter, Mandy and myself Maureen. They picked us up from our hotel ( the brilliant Brilliant Hotel) on Friday 28th December and drove us to Hoi An. So many wonderful experiences, starting with Anthony Bourdain’s banh mi, and then moving on to many more street stalls, walking through the old city, having dinner under the lanterns and lights by the river. It wa truly a magical afternoon and evening with our 2 fabulous guides and we have rated this experience as the highlight of our 2 week Vietnamese adventures. — Traveller: MoBurnett40 from Tripadvisor
