A Brilliant Day!
We had the pleasure of a day trip with Xuan Tu in October this year. She picked us up from the dock, having arrived that morning on our Cruise Ship. We had a fantastic day with her. Not only is she very knowledgeable, but she is a lot of fun as well. She took us to places that a normal commercial trip would not reach and she was genuinely concerned at showing us as much as possible.Her driver Binh was also excellent managing to navigate his way round the scootered masses and delivering us back to the Cruise Ship in good time. Fabulous tour with Xuan Tu private tours. We wish we had more time with her.
We visited the central area of Vietnam as part of out cruise itinerary and sadly only had one day in the area. Research was completed and after reading Xuan Tu’s reviews we approached Xuan Tu to see what she could offer us. Xuan Tu was very very helpful in creating an itinerary for the day we had. She was brilliantly organised and made us very welcome. She is very proud of her country and her passion and energy really showed during our time with her. Our biggest regret is that we did not have more time to spend with her. Our day started when Xuan Tu and her driver met us at the port entrance and our first stop was over the high pass. The views were spectacular. Our visit to Lady Budda was made more memorable by the information Xuan Tu gave us during the visit. The green marble mountain is certainly one stop that no visitor should miss and gain Xuan Tu explained all about the place as we went. Xuan Tu choose a local restaurant and also helped us by ordering a fabulous selection of food for us in Hoi An. She checked the bill to make sure we were not overcharged. Hoi An is a beautiful village and is absolutely a must see. Fortunately development is restricted so this is the traditional Vietnam which we really wanted to see. We told Xuan Tu that we wanted some souvenirs and she was helpful to us finding the right stores who were selling the best products and ensured we paid the right price. We would not hesitate to book another tour with Xuan Tu and would love to have the time to go on one of her long tours across Vietnam. If you are going to this area of the world, contact Xuan Tu and contact her early. She will look after you and guide you through a fantastic day in a beautiful part of the world. Xuan Tu is great fun to be with but also a knowledgable, Intelligent, passionate and ambitious. Her English is humbling and her mother should be very proud of her!!! Until next time….. Xuan Tu perfect for Study Abroad
As part of an almost month-long university sponsored Study Abroad trip coming from the U.S., we hired Xuan Tu to help us out while passing through the beautiful cities of Da Nang and Hoi An. Put simply, Xuan Tu exudes a fantastic blend of professionalism and personality that makes each experience unique. She met myself and my colleague, along with 10 college students, at the train station in Da Nang, immediately directed us to some fantastic food (including vegetarian if necessary), and then guided us through an amazing experience of the nearby Marble Mountains. The following day, she expertly led our entire group through the streets of Hoi An, providing both important historical information during her presentations at each stop; but also providing specific viewpoints about all things local. The following day, completely suggested and planned by Xuan Tu herself, was a captivating bicycle ride over to and around Cam Kim Island, in which our entire group got to experience the unique aspects of local village life — including ship-building, local temples and food, basketweaving and woodcarving, and so much more! All in all, Xuan Tu was the perfect guide for our educational and cultural needs, especially for a group of college students on study abroad. Shore excursion from Da Nang port
Our family had an excellent day out with Xuan Tu, when our ship the Volendam called at Da Nang earlier this month. She met us outside the second port gate, about a ten minute walk from the ship, with a car and driver. We drove to Hoi An and collected bikes for a ride around Cam Kim island visiting various local places. We all had a go at rice paper making, which was fun! Back in Hoi An we had a delicious lunch and then went sightseeing around the town. Xuan Tu’s English is very good and I recommend you book a tour with her! — Traveller: lizcat1 from Tripadvisor
