Great trip with Quan and Duy
We joined the cam-kim island and myson tour on day one and the second day the Hue tour. Our tour guides were Duy and Quan who were the nicest people I have met in Vietnam. They were very knowledgeable and friendly, we asked a lot of questions and they answered them very patiently. They have also told us about some interesting facts about the lifestyle and marriage of the young people in Vietnam which I found very different from my hometown (hong kong). The tours were really and the arrangement was very flexible that could accomodate our plan. I personally like Every bit of the tour. The only thing I would like to do more were we were hoping to see more of the fisherman’s life and tried the basket boat. On our way to Cam Kim island by bikes, we were little bit scared about the traffic in Hoi An (not very used to ride with motorbikes and car), Quan and Duy have been taking care of us and kept checking if the road was safe to go thru. Later on they offered to carry us on their bikes, although we decided to go there by ourselves, we were still very impressed by their kindness. The second day Quan continued to guide us to Hue, after we visited the Hue Imperial city and tomb, he took us to the local market. After we finished shopping, it was raining very heavily and the street got flooded. Hue tour with Quan
Firstly I would like to thank Xuan Tu for her prompt reply to my initial emails and her help and suggestions for tour options for our group of four. We walked out the port gates on the morning of our tour and found a smiling Quan to greet us.We were driven around in a comfortable airconditioned car for the day with a great driver.We found Quan to be so friendly and full of knowledge about all the areas he showed us. We visited 2 of the kings tombs,Had a short boat ride on the perfume river to a pagoda.Quan recommended a great local restaurant in the ancient city where we had a wonderful lunch.We then spent the remaining time looking at the rest of the walled city,The Citadel The imperial city and the forbidden city.We really enjoyed our day spent in Hue with Quan it was a highlight of our visit to Vietnam and highly recommend him as a great tour guide. — Traveller: bill43 from Tripadvisor
Day Tour to Hue
We spent a great day with Quan who was very informative and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour. The driver and car service provided were also first rate. We visited two Emperor’s tombs of the Nguyen dynasty (Khai Dinh and Minh Mang),the pagoda of the Celestial Lady, and the Citadel of Hue. Tour of Hue with Quan
Quan gave us a fun and wonderful tour of Hue. We saw so many historical sites which Quan was extremely knowledgeable about. As other reviewers have mentioned, Quan is very funny, personable and extremely professional. Despite the heat, Quan accommodated all of our requests and made many roadside stops for food and snacks. Needless to say, we will ask for Quan again when we come back to Vietnam. My biggest regret is that we couldn’t book him for a Hoi An / Danang tour! Informative Day with Quan in the Hue Imperial City
Very little prepares you for the immensity of the Imperial City. We only spent several hours there and it is well worth more time if you don’t mind a little bit of heat. It was easy to imagine the City populated by courtiers. Quan was very knowledgeable about the City and was able to communicate this in an interesting way. — Traveller: Mark B from Tripadvisor
