So easy to deal with
I honestly can’t speak more highly of the people at Xuan Tu Tours. They are fantastic. We had a Danang port stop on a recent cruise and booked a tour to Hue. However the day before the stop we were advised that instead of stopping at Chan May port we would be at a different port much further from Hue. I emailed Xuan Tu who responded immediately and changed everything to a tour of Hoi An (which is much closer to the port we eventually used). Our guide on the day was Thuy and she was delightful and had excellent English. The tour was brilliant as Thuy took us to various sites around Hoi An as well as the ancient city. Then she found us a lovely place to try some street food for lunch. It was fantastic. Thank you so much to Xuan Tu Tours for being so professional in enabling us to change our tour at such sort notice. I recommend them highly. Day trip to Hue
We really enjoyed our Private Tour to Hue with Lam of Xuan Tu Tours today. We were picked up from our hotel in Danang in a comfortable air – conned people carrier and were really thrilled with our scenic trip through Hai Van Pass and along Lang Co Lagoon on our way to Hue. In Hue we visited the Citadel, the Thien Mu Pagoda, and famous king’s tombs, and enjoyed a trip on a dragon boat along the Perfumed River. Our stop at Lam’s recommended restaurant for lunch was a visit we will always remember for the quality of the food and the beautiful buildings and gardens. We felt very safe with the driver and Lam’s knowledge, enthusiasm and command of English was excellent. He also has a great sense of humour. Efficient and hospitable
We had such a wonderful couple of days around Danang, all expertly organised by Xuan Tu. We left our couple of days completely in her hands – airport pick ups and drop offs, tour suggestions and accommodation – stayed at her lovely Mum’s home stay. Our two day trips – to Hoi An and Hue – with the absolutely delightful Thuy were a blast, with Thuy finding just the right balance between explaining the sights and having fun. She got on really well with all of us – my husband and I and our young adult sons. If you are short on time, the day in Hoi An was my favourite. Hue is a long drive – between 4 and 5 hours spent in the car. On the way to Hoi An we stopped at the famous Banh Mi place and Thuy helped us order, then for dinner we ate a tiny stall in the market that I would have been too scared to try on my own, but really good food. Visiting the farms on the island was really interesting – probably the best part of the day in my opinion, but my sons loved the shopping and Thuy showed us a tailor which was able to make a shirt for one of my sons in a couple of hours. The couple of days was topped off with dinner at the home stay. Mai (Xuan Tu’s mum) used to be a chef and this meal was the best we have had in Vietnam – super fresh and tasty. So sad we didn’t have time to do a cooking class with her. The home stay was a really nice experience as we had more time to chat to Xuan Tu and her family. I thoroughly recommend this whole experience – possibly a bit more expensive but a million times more enjoyable than a big group tour and all organised with immense ease via email before I left home. — Traveller: mgilanyi from Tripadvisor
Excellent tours of My Son and Hue – highly recommend Xuan and Thuy
Xuan helped organise tours for my family to My Son and Hue during our stay in Danang. She was quick to reply and provide information, also very flexible when I had to make an amendment last minute which was helpful. I think the cost is on the pricier side for Vietnam especially as it is a private tour but well worth it for the quality, flexibility and general peace of mind. The driver and tour guide that accompanied us were both excellent. We had my 9 months old son with us and the driver took extra care navigating the roads which I appreciated. He was also helpful getting him in and out of the car seat which Xuan also provided. Thuy was our guide both days and she was excellent! Thuy was informative and engaging but also knew when we needed to take a rest in the back of the vehicle. She has great energy, a lovely demeanor and was very friendly with my son. I would especially recommend Thuy for anyone traveling with young children. She is very good with kids.
