Great weekend in Da Nang and Hoi An
We had a great time and would like to compliment Duy for such an enjoyable experience. He’s young but very dedicated to his career, responsible and proactive in anticipating the needs of his customers. He’s knowledge and passion for his hometown and city where he’s currently living is impressive. We hope to receive the photos that we took together with him as well as keepsake and would definitely look for him if we come back here in the future. Hope that he will have a bright future here. Five stars for him! It’s also heartening to visit the lesser known areas like cam kim island and kim bong village which helps the poorer families earn some additional income via such tours to their residences. Very highly recommended!
Lam has been our guide for the last 2 days around Hoi An & Da Nang. He has been nothing short of excellent. His English is fluent and he is very friendly and knowledgeable on the meaning and history of the sites visited. He is very observant and caring to the needs of each individual in the group. Our group of 10 consists of members aged between 30 to 70 years old and he has left each and everyone completely satisfied. Private tour for 2 Hoi An & My Son
Found their reviews on trip advisor and read that they were very much recommended. Booked a tour with owner Xuan Tu sometime in March. It was very easy and Xuan Tu almost immediately sorted my tour out in less than a week according to my requirements. Hai was the tour guide who was assigned to take us on this tour. He is only 25 years old but is extremely knowledgeable about everything in Danang as much as Hoi An, his home town. We went to My Son too and Hai patiently explained to us the whole history of the place which was amazing and even helped us capture the most amazing pics of us with the beautiful surroundings! Hai also constantly checked with us if we needed toilet breaks throughout the tour. That’s what I call anticipating your guests’ needs which was something I learnt when I worked for Four Seasons Hotel Singapore 20 years ago. My boyfriend and I extremely enjoyed our tour with Hai as he is really a very funny and very entertaining person. I would highly recommend a private tour if you can as they can customise your tour according to your requirements. We were not ever rushed throughout the trip and it was according to our whims. We had to make short stops for our beers as well as our cigarette breaks but Hai was so kind and accomodated to our nicotine urges. We immediately formed a real friendship with Hai as he is really a sincere and sweet guy. We took many photos with him as well. It was more like many family photos taken together. We both even hugged him when our tour ended. That was how much he grew on us! I have been on some tours before but trust me, this was nothing like your usual predictable tours. Was the most fun my boyfriend and I have ever had. We are not the easy to please kind but Hai scored a 7 stars with us for this trip. If only we could rate more than 5 stars on this app, we would rate him 7 stars without a doubt. If we come back to Danang in the near future, we will definitely be requesting for Hai to be our guide again! Danang is really a beautiful and wonderous place to visit! Best memory of Hoi An
I had one of my best days in Hoi An with my guide Hai from Hoi An Private Tour. He met me at my hotel at 8am and we did a half day bicycle tour of Cam Kim Island and Cam Thanh island including learning how to make rice paper/noodles, how to weave a grass matt and a ride on a basket boat with a very cool old lady around the water coconut trees. I had a one to one tour which meant I could have a really personalised experience and talk a lot with my guide about local life and history of Hoi An. My guide was so lovely and knowledgable – a great young guy with lots of enthusiasm who taught me so much about local culture. I really enjoyed meeting the local people he introduced me to on the tour who were extremely welcoming and generous. I would highly recommend this tour in particular to anyone looking for a more personal experience away from the crowds, with the opportunity to get to know a very good-hearted, genuine and smart young man with a nice sense of humour. — Traveller: Katie F from Tripadvisor
a great bicycle tour with Hai
my wife and i booked a bicycle day tour before we visited Hoi An, the tour guide Hai is a young guy who arrived on time that day. after carefully checking the bikes we borrowed from the hotel, he lead us cycling around the city to a couple of places, like a fisherman ship construction site, a wood crafting shop, an ancestral hall and two local families to learn the people’s life there. he knows the city so well and explained everything in details. he is good in english which make no difficulty in communication.
