Our stay in Hoi An!
Such an amazing couple of days in the company of Lam and his trainee guide Hom. We walked miles, laughed a lot and learnt so much. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lam’s knowledge of local restaurants and street food was just brilliant. They were a credit to the company and to their country. Great Private Tour around Danang and Hoi An
Xuan Tu was very patience and helpful when I requested to customize my 2 days private tour around Danang and Hoi An. Due to Tet holiday, I met two different teams (driver + guide) for my 2 days private tour, so the guide and driver will take turn to have day off. Duy was my private guide and Vu was our driver for the first day. Then Dung was my private guide and Chanh was our driver for the second day. Both Duy and Dung have great knowledge about the Vietnam history and also the local attractions. Duy is fluent in both English and Chinese. His Chinese pronunciation is near to perfect. While Dung’s English is exceptionally good for a non-native English speaker and near to perfect as well! I learned so much about Central Vietnam, local culture and local cuisine through them. I am so lucky to have both of them as my day guide. Last but not least, I would like to thank both drivers – Vu and Chanh. Foodie tour
Wow what can I say about this foodie tour of hoi an. You better have a great appetite and it’s it.. XuanTu, Hong and driver Quoc nice team. Xuan humour makes the tour better. It is a tight schedule from Danang as we came from a cruise ship and went directly to hoi an. The herbal tea, pho, banana pancake, coffee and rest was great. Did not have dinner back on the ship. Excellent Tour and great way to spend the day!
Our group had just over 9 hours off Celebrity Constellation earlier this month, and Xuan Tu, her assistant Hong, and driver Quoc ensured that we enjoyed a fabulous time in Hoi An with her Private Food Tour. We got to sample sooooo many delicious local cuisines and drinks and the local people were very friendly and accommodating. My personal favourites were the Bahn Mi Sandwich and a cold drink (forgot the name) made from lemongrass and lotus roots. Xuan Tu is a delightful young lady with a wicked sense of humour (just kidding…LOL) and I would highly recommend using her or one of her staff guides if you’re planning a visit to Hoi An and Da Nang. A thoroughly enjoyable time with a great tour guide. Next visit, may have to take Xuan Tu up on her offer to take cooking lessons from her Mom!
