Charming & excellent, a wonderful experience indeed!
My husband and I engaged Private Hoi An Guide for a half day tour of Hoi An just a few days ago. The tour covered a visit to Cam Kim Island, visits to the homes of the locals, experience the making of rice paper & noodle and sleeping mats. We had a wonderful and fun experience and I must say, it was made even more memorable coz we had Tommy as our local guide. Tommy is awesome! He speaks good English and very knowledgeable of Vietnam. But most importantly he’s was just witty, charming and complete sense of humour! There was never a dull moment throughout our journey. He made us laugh and yes, he can sing very well! We ended our tour with a amazing local cuisine for lunch, of course as recommended by Tommy. Day trip in Hoi An
We had a wonderful full day tour with Xuan Tu in Hoi An. Her passion for her country and her enthusiastic personality means it doesn’t feel at all like you are on a tour but that one of your friends is showing you around her home town. I highly recommend the full day in Hoi An. Xuan Tu takes you to places that no other tours go and you really get to see what life is like in Vietnam. I especially liked visiting the houses on Cam Kim island and meeting the families who welcome you into their home and are proud to show you their specialty skills. A truly unforgettable experience. Best English speaking Hoi An tour guide Ever!!
Just got back from an action packed unbelievable memorable day made incredible by our tour guide Xuan Tu. She was so knowledgable and fun to be with, making our tour both interesting and varied, nothing was too much trouble for her. Personalised experience makes my trip memorable!
This tour that i took was a two day private trip around Hoi An & its surroundings. Tommy was a knowledgeable guy with great english. Moreover, he seems very passionate in doing his job, and thus cementing the whole experience to a new level. Recommended to book this guy ahead as he is often booked out. Genuine Vietnamese Cultural Experience
I searched Trip Advisor for Private Tours and found this page of positive reviews. I was looking forward to meeting Xuan Tu and for her to show me around Hoi An and Da Nang but unfortunately due to a personal emergency, she was unable to take me around. Alternatively, she did set me up with her colleague, Tommy, who was a great guide! For my half day Da Nang tour, Tommy took me around town and showed me the Marble Mountains and Lady Buddha. He also took me to some great local restaurants where everything was spot on. He also brought me to a great massage place as well. Da Nang was fun but in my opinion, Hoi An was the highlight of my visit. This was a full day tour where we started the day with a Banh Mi sandwich as the famous spot which Anthony Bourdain put on the map. Trust me, it’s really that good. Then, we toured around the organic gardens and the small surrounding villages meeting local carvers, weavers, and noodle makers. We finished the day walking the streets of the Old Town in Hoi where there are many shops and restaurants. I even got two custom 3 piece suits made for me within the day.
