Excellent Private Tour of the “real” Da Nang and Hoi An
My wife and I did the 50/50 tour of Da Nang and Hoi An with Lam today. It was an excellent chance to see both the highlights of the city and get a local flair as well. Starting with the oldest coffee shop in Da Nang and ending with Bourdain’s now famous Banh Mi in Hoi An the tour also included great local food as well. Lam made sure we were safe at all times, like giving my wife his arm/support climbing up and down marble mountain in the rain, and was always ready to take pictures of us at the highlights. It was clear Lam wanted to make sure it was a special trip for us from the moment we met him and he surely did just that. Great Sample of Local Sights
Our guide Thuy was friendly, fluent in English and gave us a nice overview of the sights and experiences in Hoi An and Da Nang over two separate tours. The first one especially was packed with fun as we saw the coconut village in basket boats, rode a water buffalo and then visited ancient Hoi An in the evening as the lanterns took effect. The Da Nang tour was a little less interesting, although we enjoyed this one as well and felt as though we were well looked after for the whole time. Excellent Private full day tour of Da Nang and Hoi An with Tram !!
We had a great day visiting Da Nang and Hoi An with Tram; 50/50 split between Da Nang and Hoi An was an excellent idea which enabled us to enjoy both the cities on the same day. Tram was extremely professional and seemed very knowledgeable about the area and all the places we visited. She was very flexible and understanding in what activity we liked more and changed schedule accordingly. Her communication skills are excellent as well and we had no problem at all anywhere. Really loved the local coffee place she took us too and also how nicely we were able to squeeze in a short food tour in Hoi An. Best basian tour guide ever
We booked a full day tour to Da Nang at Xuan Tu tours and Thuy was our tower guide. she was super freuendes, had deep knowledge about the places we visited and she also showed us some places other tourists normally don’t see. To summarize: A+++ — Traveller: ulrichr882 from Tripadvisor
DA NANG TOUR with Thuy
Very professional tour with Thuy. Everything was under schedule, very good driver in a nice SUV.We wanted to go to Hai Van Pass and even though it was foggy and raining they took us there, it was nice that they tried to fulfill our requests! We visited lady budha.We got back to the city for coffee and visiting local markets (nice coffee in a typical Vietnamese place).we got for lunch according to our request(the place will not be in a tourist list, but was ok-nice to eat like a local and not like tourist).we went to marble mountains, nice tour-Thuy is very familiar with the place and history and finally we went back to the city. Overall, was a nice trip -we visited most of the important places in/arround da Nang, Thuy was very nice and helpful, but I think that the tour should be less expensive (paid 170$-hai van pass was extra, 2 persons)-I think that should be arround 120.
