No, that’s not a typo. Duy was our guide, and he was great. We did two different day tours with him: the first a look at Da Nang, and the second to Hoi An. We can cheerfully recommend both. Customized tour of Hoi An and Danang
I secured a private tour through Xuan Tu several months before our cruise because I read that she was the best. She was very professional and assigned me a tour guide named Quan who met us on the dock at the precise time we had agreed upon. Along with Quan was a driver and a very comfortable car with water and AC. Soon after we began discussing the activities of the day, I voiced some concerns that the 1st part of the day was not to my liking. Quan gave us some other options which we quickly agreed upon and he called Xuan Tu to make sure it was alright if we customized our tour. She readily agreed and with Quan at the helm, we had a perfect day doing and seeing just the things we enjoy. Quan was professional, knowledgable and quite a lot of fun! Private tours do cost more that cruise excursions, but as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for”! We felt like we received a great value for our money and saw so much more than other cruise guests returning from their excursions. Fun day full of laughers with our guide Trâm!
We had a day your in Hoi An with Xuân Tú Private Tour, Thanks Xuân Tú for the prompt reply via email and arranged Trâm to be our guide, who brought my parents and myself to Hoi An for whole day. We went to Cam Thanh Eco Village and had a ride on the round-basket boat! 🙂 received the gift from the “captain” which was a traditional handcraft ring! Then we went to Tra Que Herb & Vegetable village, so good to know different vegetable which we seldom see in Hong Kong! Then we walked around in Hoi An Old Town. We want to have special thanks to Trâm who is really professional, more than that, has the passion of her work and country! She is very informative and super cute! We enjoyed the language exchange a lot ; ) who also get along very well with my parents! She not only shared so much information and history in every spot, but also share the view of the country with me from local’s life to even a bit about the governing policy which really impress us! What a nice city in DaNang and Hoi An! Last but not least, we enjoyed a lot for all the secrets places that Trâm brought us to, we can’t find it without local guideline for sure! That’s also the reason I chose private tour with local, that you could experience much more than any tour!
