We had the best 2 days of tour with XuanTu tours at Danang and Hoi An. Our first time in Vietnam and Guide Lam showcase the best of what central Vietnam is all about. Lam was kind, sincere, spoke excellent english and great with children. He is flexible to accomodate our family and make sure our needs are met and yet kept the tour interesting and fun. This trip and the many experiences were memorable and we learnt real vietnam hospitality and the wonderful virtues of the vietnam people. Give XuanTu tour a chance to make your own wonderful memories. For me, this is a start, rather than the end. Wonderful Day at Imperial Hue
This was the best run tour of our time in Vietnam, and it was thanks to Hieu and our driver. Hieu has in-depth knowledge of Vietnamese culture and history and speaks English exceptionally well. Da Nang is known to be rainy, especially during November, and of course, rained during the morning hours. It didn’t matter, and thanks to our tour guide, we kept its slow pace and felt out the day and time. After a morning drives through a windy, green, and lush road, we had some traditional Vietnamese coffee. Next, we went to Imperial Hue and explored the grounds with the help of Hieu. He was, of course, knowledgeable and allowed us to ask any questions and move on when we wanted to. Then we went to a Vietnamese lunch, some more coffee, a pagoda, and then ended our time in Imperial Hue at the 12th King of Imperial Hue’s tomb. Ten stars out of 5! Best tour with Hieu!
This tour was the best part of my trip to Vietnam and it is all because of Hieu, our tour guide. He spoke exceptional English, had a sense of humor, and a passion about the history and meanings of what we were visiting and looking at. I learned so much on this one day tour and wish I had had more time! We first started in Da Nang visiting the large Lady Buddha temple, then visited the Marble Mountains, and finally Hoi An. The tour was off the beaten track – focusing on the history and smaller places versus the large commercial sites and shops. Hieu was patient and had answers to all of our questions. I had asked a question and he had said to wait and he would answer. I had forgotten I had even asked the question and he brought it back up and answered it at the right time. There was a very nice flow to the tour and it was so informational. I asked Hieu how long of a stay makes sense given I felt I didn’t have enough time and he suggested 3 days. I would recommend this tour and highly recommend Hieu as the tour guide – he was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam and I will be back and plan to book him specifically again to go around the area with more time allotted. — Traveller: Meredith L from Tripadvisor
Ba Nang Hills and Hoi An private tour
A group of six of us meet up in Danang, it was our first time here. Our tour guide Lam who is a local has gone above and beyond to ensure we get the most experience out of our short stay here. An opportunity to see Vietnam ‘from the inside’…..a unique, wonderful travel experience once again with Xuan Tu
This has been our second stay with Xuan Tu and her wonderful family, after our initial incredible visit in 2016. Xuan Tu, her cousin Lam and guide My, as well as the safe, courteous drivers, ensure that each tour is a very special, personal experience, that in our opinion cannot be matched by any of the more commercialized tour companies. Every day feels like a day out with family members than an organized ‘tour’ experience. No ‘commission-based’ trips to commercial outlets, just an opportunity to enjoy the experiences that Hoi An and other places (Da Nang, Hue, Ba NA Hills etc) have to offer, helped by the expertise and local knowledge that Xuan Tu and her team bring to each trip….whether it’s food, shopping, best time of day to avoid crowds, reasonable purchase pricing, history and current events.
