Amazing!
This is our 3rd trip to Hoi An and 5th tour with Xuân Tu. Our previous 4 tours have been amazing experiences and this tour to Hue was no different. Our party of 6 was met at our hotel by Lam. He is a brilliant tour guide who is very knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and Hue. The trip from Hoi An to Hue takes about three hours and we had several stops long the way. Along the way we stopped at a great place for lunch where he recommended several dishes, and he asked if we wanted to stop at a local market where we sampled a few local delicacies. The citadel and imperial palace is an amazing site to see, and over a few hours Lam guided us through 1,000 years of history. The weather was not great on the day and one of us had mobility issues. Lam customised the tour to suit us and we finished by having a great conversation over a cup of coffee. What really stands out is the care and attention Xuan Tu and Lam have for their customers. Lam made sure that everyone was safe crossing roads, gave us water, umbrellas and regularly checked if there was anything else we needed or wanted to do. On the way home he offered to stop for dinner at his local Bahn Mi street vendor. This is not one we would have found on our own so we were all keen. Lam told us they were good and they certainly were the best Bahn Mi we have had in Vietnam. Throughout the day we really enjoyed talking to Lam and we learned a lot about life in Danang and Vietnam. We now have a new friend in Lam and we are looking forward to doing another tour with him next time we are back. In addition to being amazing tour guides, Xuan Tu through her tours also supports local people to stay in their traditional industries to protect their heritage. Great Tour of Da Nang
A good trip can be made more memorable with great company. We made friends quickly with our tour guide, Thuy (Phoebe), and it made all the difference in the world. Excellent!
After a bumpy start, we had 2 days of excellent experience with Xuan Tu! She took us to Hue and her knowledge on the history as well as all the details of the Citadel were amazing! We learned a lot and had a great laugh. She also took us to a great local place for food and showed us all the local dishes. Great fun and an example of people going above and beyond to deliver great service!On our 3rd day we did a tour with Lam in Hoi An and Da Nang where the same level of friendliness and local knowledge made it great experience! 3 Day Tour of Hue, DaNang, HoiAn and MySon
My partner and I visited Central Vietnam for the first between 15-22 December. We booked 3 of the days with Xuan Tu Tours. All in all we had a wonderful time. Our guide, Hau, was very enthusiastic and insightful. They were punctual in picking us up at each hotel we stayed at, and also at time keeping during the tour itself. We felt very safe and comfortable during each day trip. Bottles of water were provided for us, as well as wet towels. They also helped us do restaurant bookings and talked to the merchants in the market when we couldn’t understand something. The travel programme was well paced. They took us to all the must-see places during each day. The guide was very knowledgable and provided very engaging commentaries for each site. We thoroughly recommend Xuan Tu Tours. Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue from the Travel Gang
We have a group of 11 people and booked thru Xuan Tu Tours. Our guide “Lam” is probably the best we have had with all the trips we have taken. He is funny, knowledgeable, and flexible to our various requests during our private tour. We had a blast in our two days tour. Highlights in our tour were a boat ride to visit oyster and fish farm at the lagoon on our way to Hue, one of our special requests. Street food and market tours were the best ways to explore the Vietnamese locals and understand their deep culture with great respect.
