We spent to days with Khanh Nguyen exploring Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue, and then another two days with Lan Nguyen in Mekong Delta and Saigon. Both Khanh and Lan are extremely knowledgeable and experienced tour guides and thanks to them we could not only visit top sites but also better understand Vietnamese culture. Perfect Hoi An visit!
Five of my childhood friends from Hong Kong reunited from all corners of the world and had a mini reunion at Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An, Vietnam. We had the most pleasurable time in the various cities but particularly in Hoi An! The city is so unique and picturesque particularly at night with the beautiful multi-colored lanterns in display. Our guide Lam was thoughtfu and extremely passionate in relating the history of Vietnam, it’s struggkes in the early seventies, and how the Vietnamese wrting had transformed from the Chinese characters and the different phonetic sounds. He got me so interested that I actually did more research when I returned to the States. Lam was also a great bargain negotiator for those of you shoppers in the city center square. He is an intelligent young man who has a special ability to keep you engaged with whatever he’s attempting to educate tourists. Excellent tour of DaNang!
We very much enjoyed visiting DaNang, Hoi An and Hue and left Vietnam with wonderful memories, all thanks to Xuan Tu and Lam! If anyone looking to visit DaNang, I would highly recommend Xuan Tu and her company as they have well-curated itineraries, thoughtful planning and provided great insights into their culture, city and history. They also shared with us some great restaurant choices (especially the baguettes recommended by Anthony Bourdain). Xuan Tu even came to the airport to send us off, and with extra baguettes as souvenirs, as she knew how much I enjoyed them. All in all, I don’t think we would have enjoyed our trip to Da Nang as much as we did if we didn’t have Xuan Tu and Lam showing us around. — Traveller: chausha from Tripadvisor

다낭 호이안 미손 투어 정말 최고였습니다.. ㅠㅠ 저희는 가이드 캔(Can)과 함께했는데 부모님이 정말 좋아하셨습니다. 어머니는 위장문제가 아버지는 심장문제가 있으셔서 걱정이 많았는데, 캔이 신경을 정말 많이 써줬어요. 오늘 점심 저녁 이걸 먹을 건데 괜찮으시냐, 등산할때 이 코스가 나을까 저 코스가 나을까, 아버지 힘드시면 누울 수 있는 카페에서 기다리고 계시라 하자.. 등등 항상 물어보고 기다려주고 했네요. 저희가 꽤 요청사항을 많이 바꾸고 그랬는데도 괜찮다고 웃어줬습니다. 어머니가 30분 쇼핑한다하고 거의 1시간 있다 돌아왔는데도 괜찮다 하고 ㅠㅠ 캔 정말 미안하고 고마워요 ㅠㅠ 그리고 한국인 여러분..진짜 진짜 캔을 추천하는게.. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 진심 사진기사입니다 그냥 사진기사에요 ㅋㅋ 어디가면 무조건 제일 좋은 스팟가서 사진찍어주는데.. 인생샷을 몇개를 건진건지ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 어머니가 캔이 찍어준 사진 다 인화해서 액자에 크게 걸어놓자 하실정도에요 ㅋㅋㅋ.. 아무튼 캔! 투어 정말 좋았습니다. 내년 겨울에도 꼭 같이 후에 투어 갔으면 좋겠네요!! Danang, Hoi An, Myson Tour was really awesome!!! We were with the guide named “can”(maybe it’s because he can do everything? 😉 And My parents really liked it. I was really worried about my parents because my mother has stomach problems and my father has a heart problem. But Can cared them very much. He asked everything like as; can your mom eat this or not, can your father climb up to mountain or not, let your father wait at the cafe because he really looks tired… Etc. We changed quite a lot of requests but Can just laughed and said it’s okay. My mom and sister said they will shop for 30 minutes but they came back 1 hour later… However Can just waited for us with no texting and he said he understand women’s time kkk 🙂 And Can was also an amazing photographer. (It is the reason I expecially recommend him to Koreans.) He knows every great photo spots, and he took pictures with his brand-new iphone which was really nice.
