A Great Tour of Hoi An and Da Nang
We can’t recommend our tour guide (My Do) and Xuan Tu tours enough. They were really quick to respond and we were able to easily book two tours the day we got to Vietnam plus chatting over WhatsApp is way easier than email. Our tour guide was the best, My managed to keep our three young kids (3,5,7)happy and engaged, despite the hot and humid weather, and they all instantly bonded with her. My was also able to keep the picky Hong Kong foodies happy, and we had the best food in Hoi An and Da Nang, much much better than the food we found earlier at much cheaper prices. Her patience and happy demeanor made the tour all the better, and she was happy to share her knowledge of the area along the way. We can’t say enough about how great My was. Contacted Xuan Tu tours about two weeks before we were due to arrive in Hoi An. Xuan Tu organised our airport transfers, two day trips (Hue and Da Nang city tour) and another transfer to and from Ba Na Hills. Day trips were with the wonderful Khanh who is a self confessed foodie. He showed us some great spots for Pho, Banh Mi and other vietnamese cuisine. On our last night, Xuan Tu stopped by to greet us and gave us some parting gifts – a very thoughtful touch. Wonderful Da Nang Experience!
We did two tours, an evening food tour in Da Nang and a city sights tour the next day. Lam is a superstar tour guide and though we only had him for one evening, he made a lasting impression on us. He had us trying all sorts of interesting cuisine and was great to converse with throughout. Our favorites were the Bánh Canh and the Bánh xèo.
