More than just a guide…
My wife and I traveled around Central Vietnam with Xuan Tu in September this year for our baby moon. My wife was 6 months pregnant so we thought that it would be more convenient to go on private tours rather than join big tour groups. And getting Xuan Tu as our guide was surely the best decision we made for our trip. Having a private guide allowed us to be more flexible with our schedule. We spent four days in total with Xuan Tu – a day in Da Nang, another day in Hoi An and two days going around Hue. Xuan Tu has a very good command of English and is also very knowledgeable about the history behind and significance of the different sights. She is very good in helping one to understand Vietnamese culture. You can see that she is really proud of her heritage and culture. Xuan Tu is very warm and thoughtful. We actually felt that we gained an instant friend right from the moment we met her during the first day of our tour. We definitely felt that we had more than just a guide traveling with us during our holiday. Her cheerful personality made the trip a lot more enjoyable. 2 wonderfull days in da nang
i spent 2 days in da nang with xuan tu as my guide.i could not have wished for a better guide.she was very knowledgeable about the lfe of the vietnamese people and there history.we went around CAM KIM island on push bikes.to boat builders,wood carvers,and noodle and rice paper makers.all very interesting.up at 4 oclock the next day to catch the sunrise on the beach.then went along the coast to watch the fishermen haul in there nets. xuan tu is a very delightfull person to be around.well done and thank you xuan tu. roger mills woodend vic australia — Traveller: roger m from Tripadvisor

“My son and I spent several weeks with Xuan Tu in Da Nang, Hoi An and traveling with motorbikes through central Vietnam last August 2013. We had an absolute ball. Xuan Tu is very professional and passionate about her country and culture. Her English is excellent and she has a lovely charm and very caring personality. Xuan Tu has become a close friend through our time together and I have no hesitation in recommending her as your personal guide. Her specialty is guiding single travelers or couples and family groups but never mixed with other clients. We chose this option over the conventional tour groups. We were delighted that we did this and for a price no dearer than crowded tour groups. Xuan Tu is scrupulously honest and refuses “commissions” from traders you may encounter or gives these back to you when they are passed to her hand. She will only refer you to reputable dealers.
