My wife and I traveled around Central Vietnam with Xuan Tu in September this year for our baby moon. My wife was 6 months pregnant so we thought that it would be more convenient to go on private tours rather than join big tour groups. And getting Xuan Tu as our guide was surely the best decision we made for our trip. Having a private guide allowed us to be more flexible with our schedule.
We spent four days in total with Xuan Tu – a day in Da Nang, another day in Hoi An and two days going around Hue.
Xuan Tu has a very good command of English and is also very knowledgeable about the history behind and significance of the different sights. She is very good in helping one to understand Vietnamese culture. You can see that she is really proud of her heritage and culture.
Xuan Tu is very warm and thoughtful. We actually felt that we gained an instant friend right from the moment we met her during the first day of our tour. We definitely felt that we had more than just a guide traveling with us during our holiday. Her cheerful personality made the trip a lot more enjoyable.
