XuanTu Vietnam Tours-highly recommended !
We spent a wet, windy but entertaining day with Xuan Tu covering both Danang and Hoi An. Her knowledge and presense added to the overall experience in visiting some historic central Vietnam sites. Exceeds all expectations!
We arranged a 2 day tour with Xuan Tu during our cruise ship stay in DaNang. She helped me organize all aspects of our visit and was able to reorganize for me when the ship was 5 hours late docking and the weather failed to cooperate. Even under these difficult circumstances, our tour was magical! Xuan Tu will bring you to authentic Vietnam. You will meet wonderful local people who communicate with smiles. With Xuan as our guide, we were warmly welcomed everywhere we went, saw amazing sights and ate delicious food. Xuan Tu is an amazing young woman with a passion for what she does. She supports local businesses so that your visit has a positive impact on the community. Her English is first-rate and she has a great sense of humor. Other people on our cruise ship organized private tours but none came close to what we experienced. Best tour guide in Vietnam
Me and my 2 friends use xuan tu for our tour guide. We booked 3 days of tours Da nang, Hoi Ann and my son. and hue. We had such a blast, with this friendly bubbly lady who I will now call a friend for life. She was so much fun and we had a good laugh which made the tours much more relaxing. We emailed Xuan Tu the day before our tours and changed bits around which she was more than happy to do. We where taken to the best phu and baguette place, both amazing and a must go to. The information that was offered was 1st class and she was full of knowledge. She took us to have clothes made at the best boutique, who where also helpful and discounted us because we came with her. She also took the afternoon of our half day tour to help shop for bags in Hoi Ann. We also wanted to visit the beach which she did for us in her own time. We received a parting gift which was very lovely. The roads are very scary but the driver gave me the most amount of confidence and was not allowed to use his phone while driving which made me feel safer. Excellent private Hoi An guide: Xuan Tu
We had 2 days tour with Xuan Tu and her company in Danang and Hoi An. She knows the history and environment of Danang and Hoi An very well. It was a very good experience when she brought us to Cam Kim Island to visit families to understand their way of life, their means of making a living and had the chance to try their local food and even the food preparation. On Cam Kim Island, we visited the wooden boat yard, wood carving, rice noodle making, mat weaving. We had close encounters with the families, watched them go about their work and interacted with them. Hoi An old town is very fascinating, trying out good local food at Xuan Tu’s recommendation (doesnt break your wallet). Having good company like her makes your lunch/dinner and the entire trip exceptional. We were friends after the trip. Very approachable lady and will customise the tour according to what we wanted to see, even on short notice during the trip. Private Vietnam guide with Xuan Tu
We had an incredible time with Xuan Tu. For us, it was like travelling with an extremely well-informed member of the family. We knew very little about Vietnam before our visit and so had an endless stream of questions, all of which Xuan Tu responded to with enthusiasm, real interest and a perpetual determination to make sure we had completely understood. Also worth highlighting that we normally prefer to travel as independently as possible and so it did feel like a bit of a risk to commit to being with one guide for over a week! If you’re looking for a conventional, ‘tourist route’ guide, I’m sure Xuan Tu would cater for that, but it felt like the way to fully engage her was to be looking for adventure and hidden spots. As a family of ‘foodies’, we were particularly delighted by the restaurants she took us to. There is no way that even the more adventurous travellers would have found the places she took us to and so we had the chance to eat plenty of very (!) typical food! As for the route, Xuan Tu had a pretty clear schedule for us to follow so we left it largely in her hands but, again, we were keen to suggest a couple of extra places that we wanted to see. We are interested in history, and some of the sites, particularly the old palaces, were incredible and exceeded our expectations. Da Nang is not normally on the route but Xuan Tu was absolutely right in insisting that we visit. Similarly, Cam Kim island, suggested by her, was a trip highlight and our evening meal on An Bang Beach was magical. The fact that she chats incessantly also means that people know her, everywhere you go, from the owners of restaurants, to families who let you have a sneak peek in to their homes. I could write an essay about her but a report wouldn’t do her justice. If you’re struggling with getting prompt replies from her before you get out there, don’t panic or find someone else (although there are plenty of people out there who would probably offer a perfectly adequate service for less money). Be patient and rest assured that she is absolutely worth it! You’ll feel like you’ve really understood the country and found yourself a friend for life.
