Great time from Da Nang to Hoi An

My travel buddy and I had a great experience with Lam and James. We were both very impressed with the activities that were scheduled and despite the constant rain, had a blast. Both of them were very knowledgeable, easy to get a long with and at times pretty damn hilarious. James has a beautiful singing voice by the way. They took us to a Bahn Mi restaurant Anthony Bourdaine had visited, a small village to learn how to make rice noodles and the shopping area of Hoi An. Overall an awesome time!! — Traveller: mantionj from Tripadvisor

First visit to DaNang and Hoi Ann

Since this was our 1st trip to DaNang, we needed a trusted and highly recommended private local tour to show us around. Both James and Lam, our local guides from XuanTu tour, were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Our advice to the first timer always haggle down the price from street vendors. They have a local price and a tourist price for the same product. — Traveller: Eric W from Tripadvisor

Food tour – Must do!!

Our first day in Da Nang and we joined the private food tour with Lam and Quan. It was so much better than we expected it to be and ended up in the back streets and roadsides eating with the locals. We tried about 16 different dishes and highlight was the quail and duck foetus eggs. Lam was very knowledgable and helpful and I would highly recommend doing the food tour! — Traveller: gaudreytjy from Tripadvisor

Excellent day trip around Da Nang and Hoi An

I booked a day trip around Da Nang and Hoi An with Xuan Tu, for 2 couples, nothing was to much trouble for her, we had hired cycles the day before and visited the Lady Buddha, so I asked if we could change our itinerary slightly, she said it was no problem and advised us of our revised itinerary. We first visited marble mountain, and then on for some lunch in Hoi An which was fantastic baguettes, and a walk through the local market for some local deserts. We went on to visit an island by boat, we cycled around the island to visit some local families, one was making rice paper and rice noodles, where we got to try our hands and making them and then got to sit down with the family and try some. We next went to visit a family who made grass mats, we got to try our hand at making them and where given a local desert the lady had made. We walked around Hoi An and visited many interesting places, Xuan Tu was so informative, at every opportunity she would tell us so many interesting facts and stories. We had dinner in Hoi An, Xuan Tu chose the food food us and it was superb. We walked around the lanterns in the evening and had desert. I cannot recommend her enough. — Traveller: 723anthonyw from Tripadvisor
