Vietnamese style cooking class

The Mai family graciously welcomed us into there home for an authentic cooking school experience. Xaun and Ho first escorted us through the Con market where we selected our fresh ingredients for the meal. Mrs. Mai walked us through the traditional preparation of our divine meal. Ho and Xuan have a great sense of humor and excellent English skills. If you want to learn how to prepare a traditional Vietnamese meal in your own kitchen, you should not leave DaNang without a cook class conducted by Mrs Mai. One of the highlights of our visit to DaNang. If six stars were possible, I would rate it so. — Traveller: AntoniaL101 from Tripadvisor

Wonderful, Educational Experience

My husband and I arranged a tour on-line from Tien Sa Port when our cruise ship arrived in Da Nang and were not disappointed. Xuan Tu Mai was already leading another tour that day, so she let us know ahead of time that James would be our guide. Both met us at the port early that morning. They informed us that our original tour plan would have to be altered because the island we were supposed to visit had flooded after heavy rains the day before, and later they even refunded part of our tour cost. We spent a full day with James, who along with the driver, took us by lovely beaches and then to Hoi An, a highlight of our visit. James took us to a local coffee shop to try VietNam’s coffee, took us to historical buildings, helped us bargain for some food items in the market, and went to a traditional family run restaurant for a delicious lunch. We later visited other major locations in and around Da Nang including Marble Mountain and the giant Kwan Yin statue with views of Danang. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Xuan Tu’s tour company. It is very professional, organized, and staff are obviously concerned that each customer goes away happy. We did! — Traveller: colt123 from Tripadvisor

My favorite tour ever, Anthony was amazing

We had an amazing tour with Anthony!! We were staying in Da Nang so after he picked us up, our first stop was at Marble Mountain where we learned so much about Buddhism and the Vietnamese beliefs. We then headed to Hoi An and rented bikes and rode to the boat. We traveled across the river to an island where we watched carpenters make boats and learned so much history. We rode bikes around the island and our favorite stop was at the private local home where we learned to make rice noodles. We then went to another private home and watched how they make the sleeping mats. We then rode bikes back into the city and had an incredible lunch followed by a walking tour of all the highlights in Hoi An. I can’t say enough how much we loved his trip and Anthony as our guide. Anthony speaks perfect English and was born and raised in Hoi An so know so much about the town, restaurants and vendors. We are a family of 5 with 3 children ages 13, 10, and 5 years old. Don’t miss his tour!! — Traveller: Natianan from Tripadvisor

An amazing tour with Lam

We spent the day with Lam seeing highlights of Da Nang and Hoi An. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on. By the end of the day, Lam felt like a member of the family. He knew everything about Da Nang and Hoi An and his language skills were excellent. He was helpful and accommodating and lead us to all the best sights and food. We couldn’t recommend this tour more! Really an awesome experience! — Traveller: wildd86 from Tripadvisor

Amazing service & great sights

My wife and I came to Vietnam to see the sites and we weren’t disappointed one bit. The entire day was fun, educational and the time flew by. If you’re planning on going to Da Nang, make sure that Xuan Tu does your tour. You’ll be much happier you did. — Traveller: luigiferguson from Tripadvisor
