Great day full of cultural heritage and lots of laughs!
4 of my friends and I did the Hoi An tour with Xuan Tu and Lam. Xuan Tu was very informative and full of knowledge about Hoi An and Da Nang. Lam also knew a lot although he has been doing it as long as Xuan. Xuan is a ball of energy and always made us laugh. We all loved the bike riding part of the tour visiting a rice noodle house where they make all the noodles fresh everyday and also a lovely family home where they make all the colourful floor and place mats for your house. The family was so nice and taught us how to make them, made us a beautiful fresh corn soup (best I’ve ever had). The young boy that lived there was so cute and funny, he took us swimming in the river with him (up to you if you want to get in) but a time I will also remember. Xuan and Lam accommodated our every needs and wants on the tour even if it wasn’t part of the tour. They don’t stress over time or try and hurry you along to the next thing. It was great. We mentioned that it was one of our friends birthday during the tour and when they took us to this beautiful traditional tea house where we had fresh ice tea and a foot spa, they had surprised us with a special birthday cake with our friends name on it and everything. They went above and beyond for us and we loved that they cared so much!!! They do a lot of tours around Vietnam, from Da Nang right down the HCM city (Saigon) and next time we come back, and we are coming back! We will be doing another tour with them for sure! I also did the Hue tour with Xuan Tu tours, Anthony was our guide for the day and he also was very polite, smart, spoke great English and knew so much about the past 1000’s of year in Vietnamese history and culture. So all I can say is Xuan Tu tours is the best we have had in Vietnam and I’ve been here three times already!! Loved the experience and the memories with Xuan Tu and the team!! If I could give 10 stars on this I would! See you next time — Traveller: MattSymonds25888 from Tripadvisor
Loved it, awesome tours!!
First of all I would like to say thank you to our tour guides Anthony, Xuan Tu and Lam. We had booked a Hue full day tour and a Hoi An full day tour with Xuan Tu Tour. Anthony was our guide for the Hue tour, he was very knowledgeable, polite, patient and fun to be around. Anthony was extremely helpful at all times especially when we needed an ATM and when we were in the markets he helped us bargain. The Hue tour was a great way to learn about the history of Vietnam, very interesting! Thank you Anthony, 5 stars to you. Our second full day tour was with Xuan Tu and Lam to Hoi An. This was such an enjoyable full day tour with lots of laughter, great experiences and memories we will keep for years to come! The Hoi An tour is a must experience for anyone who comes to Vietnam, you get a taste of everything in this tour from visiting villages and Vietnamese households, riding a bicycle around the villages and passing rice paddies (which is by far my favorite out of all the tours I’ve been to), meeting the locals to tasting a variety of local Vietnamese food. Xuân Tu and Lam were definitely fun to be around with, they joked around with us and we all got along like a house on fire!! They were both very knowledgeable and Xuan Tu’s bargaining skills were awesome. They were also very accommodating with taking pictures of the group, providing sunscreen when I was clearly getting burnt in this lovely hot VN weather and Lam assisted with carrying a few of our items while we were bike riding. To top it off, on the way back to our hotel we had a karaoke session going on in the van. Fantastic tour, 5 stars each to Xuan Tu and Lam. — Traveller: audreyhade from Tripadvisor
Great tour great peolle
We had Xuan and Lam take us on this fantastic tour. Not only was it educational and insightful, but also very entertaining. As this tour focused more on a one and one approach with the people as opposed to dragging around a large hord of people, we were able to share stories between one another and generally became good friends with the guides. Definately recommend these guys as i will be seeing them next time i visit da nang — Traveller: Ross L from Tripadvisor
Hoian day your
We had Tommy (Hai) as our guide. We had booked a full day tour visiting Cham island to see carpentry village, boat building and rice noodle making, and mat making. Plus wanted to take in sights and culture of old city. Tommy was fantastic and great fun . He was well researched in the history of Hoian ( across all cultures) and was able to make the tour funny and enjoyable for our 2 kids aged 13 and 11. Temp was around 38 day we travelled so we didn’t cope too well in the heat, Tommy was able to be flexible and suggested we break the day around 2pm to give us a rest back at our hotel for a swim then picked us up again at 4 pm. We cruised about the town on bikes and he took us to two fantastic restaurants ( lunch and dinner) explaining all the dishes for us. The evening finished at the lantern festival in the old town with tommy explaining all the traditional things taking place. We found Tommy to have excellent English and was always kind ensuring we were safe and comfortable for our tour. — Traveller: simonaU701TG from Tripadvisor
