Unique Hoi An Old Town and My Son one day tour, a blast!
The above 2 places I want to cover in one day is very original. I have had this idea and I wrote to Xuan Tu to seek possibility of making it a full day tour for our group of 4. She responded promptly with a very good itinerary. It basically combined the best of the 2 tours she put on the website and I liked it. The ways she communicated with me convinced me that she is thorough, passionate, and trustworthy. The tour turned out to be flawless. Duy is our guide and he is very knowledgeable. His English is very strong and he can also speak Mandarin very fluently. We are impressed. He assisted us in many ways and we are all very grateful. The driver is superb. He managed the pretty bad road conditions with civilised professionalism. — Traveller: Sunny Y from Tripadvisor
Exceptional day tour!
My wife, I and two friends spent an unforgettable day in the company of Lam, our guide. He guided, led, educated and accompanied us on a superb adventure as we got beneath the surface of how life is in Vietnam , for some people . We visited local houses , met and talked to local families , cycled on local roads , ate and cooked local food and learnt so much about the history and culture of Vietnam. At no time were we asked to buy anything or led to places where we felt pressured to buy . The people we met seemed very comfortable in our presence and genuinely pleased to see us . We started at the hotel , took a ferry to the Island of Cam Kim, cycled around the local houses, eating, drinking and cooking local produce throughout the day. We tried mat making and finished off with a comprehensive and informative tour of old Hoi An. We could not have asked for a better day. Thank you Lam ,my friend. — Traveller: Withybedwelsh from Tripadvisor
The Real Deals when Touring in Da Nang & Hoi An!
I have used many tour companies but this is the first time I have actually enjoyed it. We were there early April 2017 and “Da Nang Hoi An Private Tour Guide” took us on a guided tour to Da Nang and Hoi An. Most tour guides will have set time schedules and take you places where they can earn commissions. Some can be pushy sales people and visit only certain shops and restaurants. With these guys, you can go at your own pace (as we had two adorable kids with us, we wanted to take our time and go at a slower pace) and request for places where we wanted to go. When we visit other countries, we usually want to do what locals do and not what tourists would do. These guys knew exactly what we wanted and took us around like how your local friends would take you around in a new town. I want to make a special thanks to my guides (or my new Vietnamese friends) Guan, Duy and Whong! (probably spelt wrong) They have very good knowledge of Da Nang & Hoi An and proud (as they should) of their cultures and provinces. Thank you for a memorable day in Vietnam. When you come to Perth (Australia) I would definitely show you guys around and will be FREE of charge!! — Traveller: Minho C from Tripadvisor
