Google on the internet and saw came across Xuan Tu Tours which was highly recommended by others. As travelling with my parents (> 70 yrs old), they are able to cater to my requirements and needs. Tour guide – Khoa was very attentive to the oldies. Enjoy the experience of having coffee in a Vietnamese local cafe and also trying out different Vietnamese food during lunch which was included in part of the tour package.
Upon my request Ms. Xuan Tu composed a custom-tailored tour package of 3 days (20-24.Dec.2019) in central Vietnam for my family of 4 adults in order to get know this region as much as possible. Everything was perfectly and efficiently organized at a reasonable price and we absolutely loved the tour, especially the local peculiarities. I appreciated really very much the flexible reorganization of our program for My Song which made a great impression to us.
Special thanks to Ms. Nguyen Thi My Xinh for the excellence guidance. She was always kind and attentive to us and informative very much.
I would recommend this tour operator to everybody who wants to travel in this region.
This was my second trip to Vietnam, Danang and we decided to do one of Xuan Tu’s Tours with my family. We chose the Hội An full day Private Tour Package (option 1) and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.
Xuan Tu (pronounced “toe”) 🙂 was our guide for the day and she kicked us into full gear from the get go, talking through both interesting current affairs and rich history of all the places we passed in Hội An and Cam Kim Island. Her English is excellent and her delivery keeps you enthralled and entertained the whole way through.
I cannot stress to you how much of an added benefit you get, visiting a foreign country, not knowing the language and have someone give you insight about the places you’ve passed, places you want to go, how to bargain well, what food to eat and just a general understanding how and why things work the way they do. The tour itself is great value for money and is almost a whole day affair. It ends with a delightful dinner at a local and very well priced food stand in Hội An. Important note: You must order 2 x servings of Bánh xèo per person and maybe a third to take away at the place she takes you to.
My family thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the great stories to take back and share with our loved ones back home. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and memories Xuan Tu. We wish you and your team the the very best for years to come !
Xuan tailored a package to suit our needs – which was firstly a transfer between Hue and Danang with sightseeing and eating along the way (highlights were the salty coffee in Hue, Hai Van pass and monkey and marble mountain ).
A few days later we transferred from Danang to Hoi An, a short drive but so much better staying in the town of Hoi An . Lam let us settle at the new hotel before taking us on an extraordinary tour of the old town and its many culinary delights. He is very charming and has such a great rapport with all the people in the markets and various street food sellers, who were happy to speak to us about their produce. He has friends Amon the best shops including the famous Banh mi and ice tea stores in Hoi An, which gets him to the front of many long queues!
I can highly recommend Lam and the organisation for their professionalism, warmth and humour.
As a solo traveler, I prefer a private tour guide when visiting new places. You expect to receive a more personalized experience and a package tour customized to your liking.
When I reached out to Xuan Tu Tours, however, I basically I wanted to see everything in 3 days… everything to the extent of the tours offered on their website – My Son, Hoi An, Hue, Da Nang and Ba Na.
What I received exceeded my expectations. Lam is an excellent tour guide. By the end of the first day, I felt I was exploring Hoi An with a good friend. Lam is an engaging storyteller and is genuinely interested in knowing more about you. He grew up in Da Nang city and is an expert in the history of the region. I appreciated his pace and his observation that I was flexible with trying new things.
In addition to the planned itinerary, we went off the beaten path and sampled street food in various alleys or in areas away from the city centers that I would have certainly never found myself.
I highly recommend Xuan Tu Tours. When I return, I will request that customized alley tour… 🙂
