An Amazing Experience

My husband and I toured Hoi An and Da Nang with Xuan Tu, James and Lam. The 2 day tour included the old city, temples, river cruise, work shops, Vietnam villages, Marble Mountain, a food tour and lots of interesting information about Vietnam history and culture. We packed a lot into the 2 days and had so much fun. If you really want to connect with local people, dive into Vietnamese culture, laugh and have a fantastic time, this tour is for you. I can’t pick a favourite part because it was just so enjoyable from start to finish. Marble Mountain turned out to be a very special experience for my husband, and for him, the highlight of our two weeks in Vietnam. I can’t thank Xuan Tu, James and Lam enough for making our trip to Da Nang so memorable. — Traveller: Sue_says_hi from Tripadvisor

Excellent experience

We spent 2 1/2 days touring My Son, Hoi An, and Hue with personable and knowledgeable guide Anthony. We highly recommend this travel agency. The tours were very well organized with enough flexibility to allow us a few changes, such as going over the Hai Van pass rather than the tunnel from Da Nang to Hue. We never felt rushed and appreciated not being constantly taken to tourist stores. We asked our guide for recommendations for dinners and were very pleased with them. Our e-mail inquiries were quickly responded to by Xuan Tu who also recommended a great cruise on Halong Bay by Galaxy Cruises and the excellent Brilliant Hotel in Da Nang. Much better than being in a group tour. Thank you, Xuan Tu, for providing travelers with this great service. — Traveller: travelbug2408 from Tripadvisor

Excellent day tour with tommy

We booked this day tour before we left New Zealand. Communication was great and no fuss in booking this trip. S There were 3 couples and we had the shuttle to ourselves. We were picked up from our resort by Tommy. Right from the start of the tour we got off to a great start with Tommy. Laughs and friendly banter made us feel extremely welcome. We first visited marble mountain and enjoyed the whole excursion. Next we went and had Vietnamese coffee. Was an experience as the guys in our group are not small and we had a real laugh with them sitting on the small seats. All part of the fun. Then Tommy took us to a Vietnamese lunch. Pancakes were exceptional. We then travelled to My Son. Tommy was very passionate about his job and was very knowledgeable about this heritage site. It was quite hot but we managed to get through the day. My Son involves a bit of walking around on uneven surfaces so good footwear is recommended. Our last stop was a Vietnamese baguette which we all thoroughly enjoyed . Thank you Tommy for the great day and laughs. Would definitely recommend this tour . — Traveller: Tarv from Tripadvisor

Exciting excursion with Xuân Tú!

After all the good reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked in full confidence a tour with Xuân Tú. As her English is very good it was easy to communicate with her by e-mail to set up a program so we could take the most profit of the stop on our cruise in Da Nang. She picked us up outside the portgate and as she was accompagnied by her friend Lam, we had two people to guide us. First we drove to Hoi An and she offered us a tastful sandwich at a famous sandwichbar. Then we visited a few famous landmarks (e.g. the Japanse bridge), but most of the time we left the beaten track and visited an old merchant house which is now in use by a local artist. As it was a little bit drizzling, she bought for the four of us the typical Vietnamese hats to protect for us from the rain. Then we took a boat to Kim Bong Carpentry village and visited a small wharf for local boat building. Next we were invited in a family home where we saw the way of life and the production of rice paper and rice noodles. We even produced some noodles ourselves (fantastic experience). We enjoyed the hospitality of the family and were offered a snack and tea. We headed back to the city and had a marvellous lunch in a local restaurant where we tasted one of the specialities: ‘banh bao banh vac’ also called white roses. Going back to Da Nang we stopped at the Marble Mountains and visited Thuy Son (water mountain) and be sure she knows the site very well because she showed us some secret places! After a brief visit to Lady Buddha, she dropped us off at the port entrance and we embarked the ship with lovely memories, leaving 2 new friends behind. Important: during the whole tour she gave us plenty of time to take pictures. Xuân Tú is a perfect organizer and a very funny person. If you are looking for a guide in Da Nang, Hoi An or surroundings: do not hesitate and book a tour with this lovely lady. She has an extensive knowledge about history, culture and religion. — Traveller: Fons M from Tripadvisor

Do not Hesitate to book a trip with Xuan Tu and Vietnam Tours -Superb,

We found found Xuan Tu on Tripadvisor, calling into Denang as part of a cruise we had limited time We explained what we wanted to see and do, mainly visiting Hoi Ann taking in the Marbles mountains and the Lady Buddha. and so Xuan Tu tailor made our trip, The start of our trip was a little worrying as we could not find Xuan Tu. The guides were not allowed into the cruise port and so Xuan Tu told us she would wait outside the gate. However we did not realise that the gate was a few more minutes’ walk away. We waited by a set of traffic lights which looked like the port gates. Anyway after a quick call we realised we were at the wrong place. It was just a little walk along the road and around a bend that we saw the actual port gates and our guide. If you coming off of a cruise just be aware. Sadly Xuan Tu had a bereavement in her family, her Grandmother, so could not escort us however she sent Tommy. Who met us with his driver in an air conditioned very comfortable vehicle with copious supplies of water during our trip. Tommy is a great guy, we had a fantastic time, he was polite but relaxed, extremely knowledgeable about his country and above all great fun ( we were 2 late 50’ couples). He is a huge asset to Xuan Tu’s team. The trip was more than we anticipated, the boat trip and the monkey bridge, such a surprise, to visit to the two local houses which were very special, As someone else explained it helps these people survive. Tommy took us to a super restaurant and recommended some great food and all for 11 dollars, amazing. We loved it all. I could go on and on. We all agreed that this trip was the best of all the trips we had. Our only negative not enough time in this lovely place. We want to thank Vietnam Tours and especially Tommy for making our trip to Denang so special. We highly highly recommend Xuan Tu and Vietnam Tours. And by the way Paddy we do not think it was expensive at all. — Traveller: ST0mas from Tripadvisor
