Hue Tour
I picked this tour company Xuan Tu tours based on the many outstanding reviews. This was a day tour of Hue from Da Nang. Our guide was Thuy a very friendly and knowledgeable guide whose English was excellent. The day of the tour it was raining so we used the tunnel to get from Da Nang to Hue. I’ve been told that if the weather is nice the alternate route gives a great views but dangerous if the weather is bad and also a longer route. Our car/driver was excellent and very safe. The Khai Thinh tomb, Hue palace, and Thiên Mu Pagoda were the stops we made. Even with the rain the sightseeing opportunities were outstanding. A highlight of the tour was the lunch we had at a local Hue restaurant Ba Do. We tried several dishes such as: 1/ ram it – fried flour and shrimp topping; 2/ beo – rice milk steamed w/ shredded shrimp and pork skin; 3/ loc – tapioca & shrimp steamed; 4/ nam – rice milk shredded shrimp and pork steamed; 5/ bun bo – beef noodle soup. Thủy selected and explained every dish. I highly recommend this tour and Thuy as a great tour guide. Next time we are in Da Nang we will take the Hoi An tour. — Traveller: ptty97 from Tripadvisor
3 Days Tour in Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue
I am glad that I used Xuan Tu Vietnam Tours during my stay in Danang Oct. 2017. This was my third visit to Vietnam, and this tour company, so far, provided the best service. First, the detailed correspondence with Xuan Tu was very helpful during the planning of my trip. She was prompt and thorough with her email replies. The 1st day, Hoi An tour, my guide Quan took me around Hoi An. He had excellent english and was very helpful and knowledgeable. My guide for my Da nang, My Son and Hue tours was the lovely Thuy. She was very pleasant and her english was excellent! –Taking me around and explaining everything that I needed to know about the places and things. I went to Hue day tour with Tram today. She is one of the most informative guide I have ever met. She can answer all my strange and details questions. Great guide…..very attentive and great explanations
We had a food tour of Hoi Duy which was great! Even though there are certain foods that we do not eat, Duy made sure that we enjoyed the authentic Vietnamese culinary experience. His explanations on the history and sites in the Ancient Town were very detailed and made the places come alive. He has great English. Amazing Hue Day Tour
Trâm and Duy were excellent guides who really made our vacation much more special. On this trip we visited the Imperial City, Kai Dinh Tomb, King Thieu Tri’s Pagoda and even took a ride on a Dragon Boat. Throughout our guides were very informative and patient with all five people, including two kids, in our group. The van was air-conditioned and comfortable with plenty of water bottles for us all. We requested a local lunch and invited our guides – what a memorable experience! Duy and Trâm helped us order a selection of local dishes and showed us how to prepare and eat them properly. We also requested to buy some Tea Tree Oil from one of the street vendors and Duy kindly took us to a trusted vendor.
