Traveling in Da Nang – Bana Hills – Hoi An with 2 elderly parents. I first contacted the company seeking advice on my Da Nang/ Hoi An itinerary. Xuan Tu replied the next day with great advices to tweet my schedule. I eventually engaged their services for 4 tours with F&E days in between. Although our tours were not on consecutive days, we were assigned the same guide and driver. This helps with the rapport! Our guide, Tony spoke perfect english and had immerse understanding of history and stories. As I was travelling with my elderly parents, Tony was considerate in avoiding places that required many stairs. He made effort for us to visit the local markets which we really enjoyed! We ate at where the locals eat and had authentic affordable Vietnamese cuisines. Our driver, Trung drive us around in a 7 seated Toyota SUV. Clean and cool, our ‘paradise’ hideout from the Vietnam hot humid weather. He drove carefully and we felt very safe during the travelling. There were free Wi-Fi in the car and free flow of bottled water. Having a chill box to keep the water and towel icy cold was much appreciated. Thus we always and cold water and cold towel waiting for us after out tour. Payment was hassle free. Amazing Hoi An Private Tour
My family and I booked a private one day tour to Hoi An in August with Xuan Tu and it was amazing! Our guide Duy is a cheerful young man who is very attentive and helpful all the time. The morning tour to the vegetable farm as well as the buffalo ride was interesting and surprisingly enjoyable. We were a bit worried about riding the buffalo but the animal is tame and lovely. The highlight of the trip was catching tiny crabs in the river on a basket boat without net. The boatman and boat lady assigned to take our family in 2 boats are nice and friendly. Even though there’s language barrier, we have fun in their boats and they made lovely little souvenirs for us while we try enthusiastically at catching crabs! Though it’s not an easy task under the scorching sun but we enjoy every single moment. The afternoon trip to Hoi An Ancient City was equally lovely and Duy shared with us many information on the city which we will not have known should we go on our own without a guide. We love the local coffee cafe and the famous banh mi shop that he brought us to. We have many wonderful conversations with Duy throughout the day and we get to know more about Vietnamese culture and history. The night scene at the ancient city was gorgeous when the street lanterns lighted up. The night market and local games are interesting too! Duy was very patient with us and he always make sure we are comfortable and don’t rush through anything if we want to spend more time on. We truly have a great day with him and he seems more like a friend than a guide bringing us around. Duy was also very nice to help me search for some hand made bags which I told him just out of the blue. I thought I wouldn’t be able to find them that day but he was determined to make my day and was constantly on the lookout during the car ride. At last! His sharp eyes noticed a small shop just on a street on our way towards Ancient City, I managed to get what I want at a good price and it’s so wonderful to know that your guide is so attentive to all your needs and requests, My family have a wonderful time and would strongly recommend that anyone who want a private tour to look for Xuan Tu and Duy! — Traveller: ChaiSingapore from Tripadvisor
Day tours in Hoi An and Hue
My travel group enjoyed two separate day-trips to Hoi An and Hue lead by the very engaging and attentive guide named Quan. He was very knowledgeable on the history and current information for both areas so we also picked up interesting trivia along the way. Quan was very accommodating with our requests for sights + shopping + rest-stops, and he was flexible to manage the itinerary so we never felt rushed or overwhelmed with the number of places visited.
