Private tour of Hoi An, Da Nang and Ba Na Hills
While searching for private guides and tours for Da Nang, I started communication with Xuan Tu Tours and from the prompt replies and clear communication we decided to book with them. Our tour guide was Hieu and he was was very welcoming since he met us at the airport, the van for our group of six was comfortable. Once we started the tours he showed passion and vast knowledge of the history of his country. He was very enthusiastic. The cold water and refreshing towelettes were very refreshing after visiting the sights on the hot weather. Hieu was very accommodating on arranging additional time on our first day of tour and we were able to see the Dragon Bridge weekend show. During the tours Hieu was able to avoid large crowds (especially at Ba Na Hills). Found out Xuan Tu Tours could do tours on other cities. I am looking forward to return to Vietnam and visit other areas with them (hopefully the northern part next time) Thank you very much to Hieu and Xuan Tu tours for providing us with an amazing time!!. -Jorge — Traveller: globetrek10 from Tripadvisor
More than a Tour, a valuable insight to Vietnam
A friend on Con Dao Island who knew we were heading to Hoi An advised us to use Xuan Tu Tours if we wanted a good experience around Danang. Interested in seeing the temple sanctuary at My Son, we checked out the website and decided to book a private half day tour with Xuân Tu. It was a good decision. The tour started in the late morning to ensure we arrived at the site after most of the numbers of tourists had been and gone. There was also some heavy rain on the day so we didn’t have to deal with crowds at all which was excellent. For all the unfortunate events that have left a significant scar on the temples at My Son, it is still a site very worthy of visiting. The valley it sits in is also a beautiful location in its own right and a great backdrop to the ruins. There is an extensive history to the site including the architecture itself and building methods, the background to the people who built it and their religious beliefs, who came after them and what impact they had on the site in the past and into the future. Even though a lot has certainly been destroyed over the years there is still much going on to preserve and understand the legacy of the Champa people. A private tour with Xuân Tú’s company ensured we got as much out of our visit as possible. I expect the company has many excellent guides, however we felt very lucky to have Hieu as our partner for the trip. Hieu is passionate about his country and its history. We realised very early in the trip that we would get a lot more out of the trip than just what there was to see and understand about the sanctuary. We returned for our second visit to Vietnam last month after our first visit 2 years ago. The people of Vietnam are a large part of why we wanted to return. Hieu is a fine example of the warm welcome you can expect in Vietnam. He is also willing to share an opinion and we spent some time covering many topics aside from the ruins during the travel to and from the site. We enjoyed his company and his insights immensely. A thank you also to our driver, Mr Lieu (?). He did an excellent job. — Traveller: galapagaswhaler from Tripadvisor
Da Nang experiences
Xuan Tu’s Vietnam Tours was recommended by friends and definitely a wise choice. Knowledgeable and friendly tour guides are conversant in English and the customised trips to places like Hoi An, Ba Na Hill, Hue Imperial City, Marble mountain, are truly enjoyable and eye opening. We were also brought to lanes and alleys to explore local food, not to mention Vietnamese coffee too. These places and experiences we have never encountered in other tours! Definitely will pick Xuan Tu’s again for the next trip to Vietnam. Keep up the good work and see you all in our next trip! — Traveller: EEYING from Tripadvisor
Wonderful guides
I am glad I took my friend’s referral of using Xuan Tu Tour. Ms. Xuan provided me lots of information and suggested itineraries of Central Vietnam before our visit. That really helps especially for the first time visitor. We were greeted by Ms. Xinh in Da Nang airport in early morning. She guided us to Marble Mountains. She was patient and soft. She took care of our 7 years old girl and explained her the nature of caves and history of Buddha in details. The next day we met Mr. Hieu for coming two days to Hoi An and rural area. He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He became a good friend of our little girl . He was not only showing us history and culture of a place, but a daily life there. We love his plans — the local seafood restaurant, the ride of water buffalo, the local food stalls … both Xinh and Hieu are kids friendly . They can speak fluent English and caring people with heart ! — Traveller: CeciliaToby from Tripadvisor
