Efficient and hospitable
We had such a wonderful couple of days around Danang, all expertly organised by Xuan Tu. We left our couple of days completely in her hands – airport pick ups and drop offs, tour suggestions and accommodation – stayed at her lovely Mum’s home stay. Our two day trips – to Hoi An and Hue – with the absolutely delightful Thuy were a blast, with Thuy finding just the right balance between explaining the sights and having fun. She got on really well with all of us – my husband and I and our young adult sons. If you are short on time, the day in Hoi An was my favourite. Hue is a long drive – between 4 and 5 hours spent in the car. On the way to Hoi An we stopped at the famous Banh Mi place and Thuy helped us order, then for dinner we ate a tiny stall in the market that I would have been too scared to try on my own, but really good food. Visiting the farms on the island was really interesting – probably the best part of the day in my opinion, but my sons loved the shopping and Thuy showed us a tailor which was able to make a shirt for one of my sons in a couple of hours. The couple of days was topped off with dinner at the home stay. Mai (Xuan Tu’s mum) used to be a chef and this meal was the best we have had in Vietnam – super fresh and tasty. So sad we didn’t have time to do a cooking class with her. The home stay was a really nice experience as we had more time to chat to Xuan Tu and her family. I thoroughly recommend this whole experience – possibly a bit more expensive but a million times more enjoyable than a big group tour and all organised with immense ease via email before I left home. — Traveller: mgilanyi from Tripadvisor
It was great Hoian night food tour~!!!
여행 시작전부터 Xuan tu 와 여러번 메일을 주고 받으며, 전체적인 여행 일정을 저희 가족에 맞게 조절하여주었으며, 유쾌하고 통통 튀는 Quan 과 twee 인솔아래18명의 (어른 9명, 아이 9명) 대가족이 호이안 푸드투어를 아주 만족스럽게 다녀왔습니다. 간단한 한국어 의사 소통도 가능하고요. 두 분의 가이드가 다양하고 편안하게 설명하며 안내하여 주었습니다. 특히 아이들을 위한 여행인지라, 천천히 쉬운 단어를 사용하여 아이들도 함게 알아 들을 수 있도록 하여준 배려가 고마웠습니다. 오빠와 누나같은 느낌으로 아이들과 소통하고 어른들과도 잘 어울려 감사했어요. 현지에서 함께하는 편안한 호이안 푸드 투어로 함께 하면 좋으실거에요. ^^ 더불어 팁으로 말씀드리자면, 전날 저녁 호이안 구시가지에서 푸드투어를 하고 난 다음날 호이안 구시가지를 재방문 하였습니다. 전일 들어갔던 매표소에서 표를 구입하는 과정에 전일 투어를 하였다 하니 투어가이드와 함께 있는 사진을 보여달라해서 보여주니, 무료로 통과시켜 주었습니다. 만약 투어를 하고 재방문 하신다면 가이드와 함께 사진 꼭 찍으셔요 ^^ We have e-mailed xuan tu many times before we visited Vietnam. Xuan tu controlled our food tour according to our schedule. It was great tour.!!! W e were 18 people ( 9 adults & 9 kids) 🙂 Quan and Twee were excellent guides. They were friendly and just like young brother and sister. When they explain place and food they slowly told kids to understand them easily. Thank you very musch. Best private tour in Vietnam!
This is our second visit to Vietnam – 2 years ago for 3 days and this year back for 2 weeks. Right from the initial planning Xuan Tu was so professional in helping us plan our time in Danang and Hoi An. We started by having a fantastic time on Cam Kim island – even at 66 years of age and hadn’t ridden a bicycle for 25 years it was just fantastic to ride through the rice fields from village to village meeting with ordinary Vietnamese villagers and fishermen. The area was completely flat, so it was very peaceful to cycle through. When we returned from the island our charming guide Oanh Vo took us through the old town of Hoi An and shared her wealth of knowledge. Hoi An has so much to offer you could easily spend two days there. She also gave us an expert tour of the large market in the town as well as visiting many of the very old original traditional houses before returning to Danang in the really comfortable SUV car. The following day our guide was Quan who gave is a great tour of Danang including Marble Mountain and the Lady Buddha statue and pergola – we also sampled traditional Vietnamese coffee with the locals. Quam went out of his way to alter to tour to take my wife to the Champa museum as she is interested in the history of the Cham tribe. We have had several private tours in Vietnam and can honestly say that this has been the most enjoyable – we will be back to Danang in the future and will certainly use the service of Xuan Tu Tours again One of the things we di like about using Xuan Tu is the fact that in the two days we were never taken to an establishment where we were encouraged to buy something, as on some other tours we got the impression that the guide was on commission. — Traveller: Mervyn H from Tripadvisor
Da Nang, Hoi An and My Son Private Tour
We booked private tours of Da Nang, Hoi An and My Son with Xuân Tú Tours. The booking process was very simple and we received quick responses to all our questions. Our tour guide, Lam, and driver arrived on time each day and they were very friendly, with extensive knowledge of the places we visited. They were also very helpful with our 5 month old son, which we greatly appreciated. Booking a private tour gave us flexibility to change times and itineraries as required. We loved visiting the local businesses and restaurants and it’s fair to say that we would not have found these if we did not have a local tour guide. Excellent tour with Lam and Thanh
We have a one day 50:50 Danang : Hoi An with a group of 11 people with half of us age 70-80 yrs old. Lam and Thanh did a very good job , my parent like the tour a lot .
